eFootball 2025 Norway ’25 Pack Review

Story Highlights

  • eFootball 2025 has introduced the Norway ’25 pack to the game for 1500 coins.
  • The standout of the pack is the 89-rated manager, who is the first in the game.

KONAMI keeps adding thrilling new features to eFootball 2025, and the newest addition to this lineup is the Norway ’25 Pack. This pack honors Norway’s finest football players, with a surprise twist – the manager in this pack, which we anticipated would be included but not in the current version.

As a passionate collector, I haven’t personally grabbed the pack just yet, but I’ve had a close inspection of the players it contains. Given that I already own several versions of these players in my team, I feel confident about what this one could contribute. Here’s my perspective on its potential offerings.

eFootball 2025 Norway ’25 Pack: Manager and Players explained

Once more, there’s a bundle of approximately 1500 coins at your disposal, and let me tell you, it’s quite a novelty! However, if you’re anticipating a celebrity manager, you might find this pack underwhelming as it doesn’t feature any big names. But fear not, KONAMI has thoughtfully included a high-rated new manager in the next discussion.

Manager: Stale Solbakken

  • Version: National Team Pack Norway ’25
  • Proficiency: Out Wide (89 Rated)
  • Affinity: Star Players+
  • Booster Type: Double Booster – Heading and Physical Contact

Upon examining the details more carefully, it should be clearer to you what I was referring to previously. We’ve broken free from the typical monotony and reached a significant achievement with eFootball, as we’ve unveiled the first-ever manager rated at 89, Stale Solbakken.

Apart from that, he possesses an 80-level skill in Long Ball, which isn’t exceptionally high but is useful for long-range attempts. Given his playstyle is Out Wide, you’ll find two ideal enhancers in Heading and Physical Contact. If you enjoy sending the ball in from the flanks, this should be a beneficial trait for you.

Let me jump into the player reviews now.

Erling Haaland

  • Position: CF
  • Playstyle: Goal Poacher

Despite the team’s struggles, he consistently rises to the occasion. On the field, he’s been exceptionally strategic, particularly in his role as a Substitute. This player doesn’t hesitate to deliver superior stats to us. He boasts elite speed for his stature and can effortlessly push through most defenses with his physical prowess.

As a gamer, I’ve noticed that his dribbling skills aren’t top-notch and he sometimes struggles with build-up play, but overall, I can deal with those aspects. However, what really stands out is his lack of balance, which has been problematic for me. Yet, when it comes to long balls and quick finishes, he shines brilliantly. Essentially, if you keep feeding him, the goals just keep coming!

Martin Odegaard

  • Position: CMF
  • Playstyle: Orchestrator

KONAMI often gives us powerful cards that perform exceptionally well when placed in their optimal positions. Odegaard falls under this category, as his exceptional ball control, superior passing skills, and smooth dribbling technique make him perfect for breaking through defensive lines.

If you prefer a similar play style to mine, it might not make the most of his abilities if you deploy him as a Center Midfielder (CMF), particularly using the Orchestrator strategy. Instead, he could excel as a versatile combination of Striker/Attacking Midfielder (SS/AMF). In my opinion, playing him with an attack-focused instruction and an active playstyle would be the optimal choice for you.

Alexander Sorloth

  • Position: CF
  • Playstyle: Target Man

As a supporter of FC Barcelona, I wouldn’t advise this particular card due to the heartbreak it caused me with that last-minute goal against us (just joking). In reality, I think this is an exceptional card. I actually own his Player of the Week card, and he demonstrates strong ball control and surprisingly agile movement for his stature.

Instead of playing as a pacesetter, position him centrally for cross opportunities. He excels in tough, physical confrontations and effectively distracts defenders within the penalty area. His skills encompass both finishing and heading, making him an ideal match for the Solbakken style of play.

Sander Berge

  • Position: CMF
  • Playstyle: Box to Box

In the old days of PES, Berge was my preferred choice for both DMF and CMF roles, as I owned his Silver Ball edition. Those times bring back a lot of nostalgia. Now, this card exhibits an effective blend of DMF and CMF attributes, boasting its powerful Box to Box playing style.

A tall, lanky player with a versatile talent pool in midfield. Berge demonstrates reliable passing, strong endurance, and an unexpected finesse when handling the ball. Although he is more highly rated at Defensive Midfield (DMF), given the optimal pairing of B2B and Central Midfield (CMF) roles, it’s best to maintain this configuration.

Oscar Bobb

  • Position: RWF
  • Playstyle: Roaming Flank

An exceptionally versatile player in the utility position, Bobb exhibits comfort across all attacking roles. His performance is backed by impressive statistics. Agile and enjoyable to play with, Bobb boasts decent speed and ball-handling abilities. Despite his limited use of skills, he performs admirably as a dribbler.

From a glance at the card summary, it’s clear that there’s a lack of physical attributes, with ratings below 65. It seems challenging to boost these figures without compromising others. In terms of the Out Wide playstyle, it appears suitable.

Overview for the rest of the cards:

  • Julian Ryerson (LB/Defensive Fullback): High stamina and pace make Ryerson perfect for tracking back and holding down the flank. Defensively solid as well. Can be used at CB, too.
  • Orjan Nyland (GK/Offensive Goalkeeper): Big frame and decent goalkeeping at 90, but on the first look, he’s not that elite GK one will look for.
  • Morten Thorsby (CMF/Box to Box): Again, a good CMF/DMF hybrid. High stamina and decent physicals so it will help him cover ground and press well. Not super technical on the ball, but he could do the dirty work, win challenges, and keep things moving.
  • Leo Ostigard (CB/Destroyer): Tough, no-nonsense defender, considering his base card. The lack of pace considering the meta, could be an issue.
  • Marcus Pedersen (RB/Offensive Wingback): He has all-around numbers. Very quick and active on the right, looking at the auto-build.
  • Antonio Nusa (LWF/Prolific Winger): Pacy dribbler with some interesting skills. The rest of the numbers look okay-ish, so he still can be a decent utility option.

Is the Norway ’25 Pack in eFootball 2025 worth purchasing

In simpler terms, the quality of the pack is average at best, and if you’re a less experienced player, I’d advise against purchasing it. It appears that KONAMI intentionally included an 89-rated manager in this pack, but overall, the value isn’t great due to the manager alone. However, we can expect better managers with higher ratings in the future.
