eFootball 2025 March update: All new additions and changes explained

eFootball League changes

As a dedicated gamer, I’m excited to share that KONAMI has made some changes in the eFootball League! Starting from Phase 7 on March 20, 2025, it’ll take fewer points for me and other players to climb up divisions or secure our current ones. This update makes it even more thrilling to compete in this virtual soccer world!

In my view, this is quite satisfying. Many players, I believe, would find it entertaining because it reduces frustrating rating drops, particularly during tight matches.

New Manager: G. P. Gasperini

The updated Gasperini version (24-25) has arrived, and trust me, it’s a game-changer! It offers two exceptional strategies: Quick Counter and Long Ball Counter. Plus, the Physical Contact buff makes it even more appealing. At 500 coins, I believe many of you will be getting it!

Match Pass and Nominating Contract refresh

In the tradition of the Match Pass campaign, you can gather rewards by participating in either Player Matches or AI Contests. You have three choices: Standard, Special, and Elite Match Passes. The Standard Match Pass is free for all, while the Special and Elite versions require 400 and 800 eFootball Coins to activate respectively, offering more lucrative rewards.

Regarding Nominating contracts, there’s a fresh pack called the “Star of the Team,” featuring six players once more. This collection includes some well-known figures and a few exciting surprises. I’ll be posting a review soon, so don’t forget to take a look in the next day or two!

New Epic, Show Time, and POTW Packs

Just as anticipated, an influx of players is taking place. The European Championships and POTW packs feature some fantastic selections that you definitely should scrutinize. Participating in the AI events grants you a single complimentary attempt for each, so make sure not to miss your chance.

Regarding the Show Time team, the National Guardians pack emphasizes a strong defensive stance. It includes players like Antonio Rudiger, Ronald Araujo, and Alexis Mac Allister, each boasting unique abilities. Rudiger is equipped with the Fortress skill, while Araujo and Mac Allister possess the Aerial Fort and Visionary Pass skills respectively.

It seems there’s also a pack called the “Turkey (Turkiye)” pack available for your selection. Given that we have an international break coming up, it’s likely we will see packs from various countries arriving. The current pack includes players such as Arda Guler, Kerem Akturkoglu, and Semih Kilicsoy.

Additionally, there’s the Epic Japan pack, starring Shunsuke Nakamura, Yasuhito Endo, and Koji Nakata. These first two stars will each receive a Blitz Curler and Visionary Pass respectively.
