eFootball League changes
KONAMI has disclosed modifications to the point threshold for advancement and demotion within the eFootball League, effective from Phase 7 commencing on March 20, 2025. This update means a reduced number of points will be necessary to secure a promotion or maintain a division position.
In my view, this is quite satisfying, as it offers a pleasant gaming experience without the constant disappointment of numerous rating drops, particularly when matches are closely contested.

As a football enthusiast, I can’t help but express my excitement about the latest version of Gasperini’s strategy! With the incorporation of both Quick Counter and Long Ball Counter tactics, this is an absolute must-have for any strategy builder like myself. Plus, the Physical Contact buff just adds another layer to its appeal. At 500 coins, I can confidently say that this is a steal for most of us football game enthusiasts!
Match Pass and Nominating Contract refresh
In the traditional fashion, the Match Pass campaign grants you rewards through participating in either User Games or AI Contests. You have three choices: Standard, Special, and Elite Match Passes. The Standard Match Pass is complimentary, whereas the Special and Elite ones require 400 and 800 eFootball Coins to activate, respectively, and provide more substantial rewards.

Regarding Nominating contracts, there’s an exciting new bundle called the “Star of the Guild”, which includes six players. This time around, some well-known figures and unexpected cards are included. I’ll post a review soon, so keep an eye out for it!
New Epic, Show Time and POTW Packs
Just as anticipated, an influx of players is happening. The European Championships and Player of the Week packs boast some fantastic selections, which you should definitely focus on. Participating in AI events offers a complimentary attempt for each, so make sure you don’t pass up the opportunity.
As a die-hard fan, I’ve got to say, when we talk about the Show Time pack, it’s all about unparalleled defensive might! You’ve got Antonio Rudiger, Ronald Araujo, and Alexis Mac Allister – each with their unique flair on the field. Rudiger brings his Fortress skill to the game, while Araujo and Mac Allister show off their aerial prowess with Aerial Fort and Visionary Pass respectively. It’s a defensive trifecta that’s sure to dominate!
