eFootball 2025 FC Barcelona 24-25 Pack Review

After spending countless hours honing my skills as a virtual football manager, I must say that the FC Barcelona 24-25 Pack in eFootball 2025 leaves me underwhelmed, to put it mildly. As someone who’s managed teams from La Liga to the English Premier League, I can confidently say that this pack doesn’t exactly set my heart racing.

KONAMI’s popular football game, eFootball, has been seeing some fresh updates with new features, and as new campaigns roll in, we are witnessing the introduction of new card sets and managers within the game. Following the release of the Arsenal FC 24-25 Pack, the latest club pack to join eFootball 2025 is the FC Barcelona 24-25 Pack. This pack features 11 players and their current manager. I decided to test this pack out, and after careful examination over a significant period of time, here’s my review of the FC Barcelona 24-25 Club Pack.

eFootball 2025 FC Barcelona 24-25 Pack: Manager and Player explained

The FC Barcelona package available from November 24-25, 2024 features a selection of star players from their 2024-2025 squad. Featuring outstanding talent in diverse positions, this package offers valuable choices to enhance several aspects of your own team.

For 1,500 coins, this pack is active until next year and offers top-rated cards, making it an appealing deal for players looking to enhance their team with Barcelona’s premier talents. As a fan of FC Barcelona, I will examine all the contents since it also includes a manager.

Manager: Hansi Flick

  • Version: Nov ’24 FC Barcelona Pack
  • Proficiency: Possession Game (88 Rated)
  • Affinity: Star Players+
  • Booster Type: Double Booster – Speed and Low Pass
eFootball 2025 FC Barcelona 24-25 Pack Review

In simpler terms, it appears that KONAMI designed a poor quality pack by assigning Hansi Flick, who typically uses a high-line counter attacking strategy, a Possession Game playstyle. This seems unusual, but it makes him an effective double booster manager if you prioritize Speed and Low Pass for a possession-based style of play. However, since the Possession playstyle is losing popularity, not many might be eager to choose this option.

Pedri

  • Position: Central Midfielder (CMF)
  • Playstyle: Orchestrator
eFootball 2025 FC Barcelona 24-25 Pack Review

Pedri is a midfielder who excels at connecting passes and determining the rhythm of the game, particularly well when utilizing the Orchestrator playstyle. His exceptional ball control and swift passing make him an invaluable player in tight situations. While he may not be at his best with this specific card, he’s still a suitable choice for those who enjoy managing the game pace and creating opportunities in the midfield.

Robert Lewandowski

  • Position: Center Forward (CF)
  • Playstyle: Goal Poacher
eFootball 2025 FC Barcelona 24-25 Pack Review

In simpler terms, Robert Lewandowski is a striker who often finds himself in the perfect spot at the ideal moment. His ability to position himself flawlessly and his knack for precise scoring make him a consistent goal scorer. Nevertheless, I believe his rating doesn’t accurately reflect his skill level. There were instances where he seemed a bit slow with the ball, but he compensated with other aspects of his game.

Dani Olmo

  • Position: Attacking Midfielder (AMF)
  • Playstyle: Hole Player
eFootball 2025 FC Barcelona 24-25 Pack Review

In my view, the standout card among them might be due to me not having an Olmo card prior. I prefer my attacking midfielders to excel in dribbling, and Olmo does that exceptionally well. His strongest trait lies in charging ahead with the ball while demonstrating clever passing, though his stats are around the 80s. He’s capable of shooting from distance, but his lack of power in shooting is noticeable. All in all, a solid card indeed.

Ferran Torres

  • Position: Left Wing Forward (LWF)
  • Playstyle: Roaming Flank
eFootball 2025 FC Barcelona 24-25 Pack Review

It’s quite unexpected that Ferran Torres, currently off his best form, was given a better rating than Raphinha. Known for his skillful dribbling, Torres excels at sprinting past defenders and cutting inside to attempt shots. While he’s not the most reliable when it comes to scoring goals, he suits players who prefer speed and agility on the wing well.

Raphinha

  • Position: Right Wing Forward (RWF)
  • Playstyle: Prolific Winger
eFootball 2025 FC Barcelona 24-25 Pack Review

Day after day, it seems like another subpar Raphinha card disappoints us. Following the letdown of his hat-trick versus Bayern UCL card, this latest release is underwhelming for a top-tier global talent like him. Setting emotions aside, the card is simply average. He excels at outmaneuvering defenders with his agility and delivering accurate crosses into the box, but his shooting leaves much to be desired. At his best, he thrives in counter-attacks or wider positions where his speed helps him create openings.

Jules Kounde

  • Position: Right Back (RB)
  • Playstyle: Defensive Fullback
eFootball 2025 FC Barcelona 24-25 Pack Review

Kounde is a hard-to-outsmart defender, quick on his feet and alert to potential threats. He’s able to hold his own in one-on-one scenarios. When called upon, he can join the offensive line, offering reasonable passing skills. His swiftness allows him to traverse distances rapidly, but he may not excel at delivering threatening crosses or executing precise attacking moves with pinpoint accuracy.

Eric Garcia

  • Position: Center Back (CB)
  • Playstyle: Build Up
eFootball 2025 FC Barcelona 24-25 Pack Review

Eric Garcia, while not quite on par with Inigo, is still a competent central defender. He excels in most areas but lacks robust physicality. As a skilled ball-playing center-back, he can significantly contribute to constructing attacks. Moreover, his ability to read the game and make timely interceptions could be tactically exploited to place him strategically for recovering balls.

Inigo Martinez

  • Position: Center Back (CB)
  • Playstyle: Build Up
eFootball 2025 FC Barcelona 24-25 Pack Review

Martinez stands out as a remarkably capable central defender. While he may not be the swiftest on his feet among defenders, his exceptional strength, game awareness, physical confrontations, and aerial combat are his standout skills. For those who prefer a classic, straightforward defensive player who excels in heading the ball and clearing it when necessary, Martinez is a reliable choice. However, it’s worth noting that his speed could potentially be a disadvantage when facing quicker attackers during counter-attacks.

Pablo Torre

  • Position: Attacking Midfielder (AMF)
  • Playstyle: Creative Playmaker
eFootball 2025 FC Barcelona 24-25 Pack Review

Torre is a skillful, inventive midfield player adept at delivering insightful passes and facilitating offensive connections. His agility with the ball and swift playmaking skills make him an ideal choice for players who prefer fast-paced attacks in the final third. However, he may struggle during more demanding physical confrontations and might not perform as well against robust, aggressive opponents.

Alejandro Balde

  • Position: Left Back (LB)
  • Playstyle: Offensive Fullback
eFootball 2025 FC Barcelona 24-25 Pack Review

Balde is a swift defender on the flank who effectively covers the wing and provides reasonable crosses. However, he may find himself out of position defensively when attacking, which can be exploited by the opposition. In my opinion, his skillset could be enhanced with better defensive awareness. If you’re looking for a more defensive-minded left back, Balde might benefit from additional support during aggressive attacks by the opposition.

Inaki Pena

  • Position: Goalkeeper (GK)
  • Playstyle: Offensive Goalkeeper
eFootball 2025 FC Barcelona 24-25 Pack Review

Pena is a goalkeeper who performs slightly below average. While he has decent shot-stopping skills, they are not extraordinary. He may struggle in high-pressure situations and his overall stats aren’t exceptional. If you’re looking for a reliable performer, another goalkeeper with superior shot-stopping abilities and a more commanding presence might be a better choice. However, Pena could be a good addition to your Barca squad if you’re more interested in collecting players.

Is the FC Barcelona 24-25 Pack in eFootball 2025 worth purchasing

In the game eFootball 2025, the FC Barcelona 24-25 Pack appears to be a passable choice for many gamers. Frankly, there’s not much in this pack that would excite most people, and even die-hard FC Barcelona fans might find it unappealing. The pack lacks notable players or distinctive features that would make it a must-have for dedicated fans or players seeking an advantage.

If you’re gathering items for team completion, feel free to continue, I won’t interfere. However, I don’t believe there’s anything particularly exceptional in this lot to warrant a purchase for the majority of you. Instead, I recommend saving your 1.5k coins and keeping an eye out for packs containing top-tier players.
