eFootball 2025 European Clubs Attackers Pack review

In the latest update, eFootball 2025 introduces the European Clubs Strikers Pack, catering to fans who appreciate precise shooting and inventive offensive play. This pack showcases legendary forwards such as Michael Owen, Gabriel Batistuta, and Rui Costa. Many of you are excited to give these players a spin, but do they deliver on the field as expected given the coins invested? Let me share my thoughts based on a review of all three cards featured in this eFootball 2025 European Clubs Attackers Pack.

Epic cards from the Italian League Attackers pack in eFootball 2025

In a similar fashion, this collection contains 150 players, and among these, you’ll find three special Epic cards. Interestingly, two of these Epic cards possess the Show Time skill, whereas the third one is just an ordinary Epic card.

Michael Owen

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher
  • Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Finishing

Owen excels in swiftness and timing, often finding himself in ideal spots. He’s among the quickest forwards, making him an excellent choice for outmaneuvering defensive formations and connecting with long passes. His shooting skills are exceptional, particularly when it comes to one-touch finishes. However, due to his lack of physical strength, he may be dislodged from the ball if a defender gets too near.

From an overhead view, he’s not particularly dangerous and his passing isn’t exceptional, so don’t count on him being instrumental in the team’s offensive build-up. He thrives as a forward when he stays near the opposing goal, patiently waiting for the opportune moment to make a run. The ‘Super Sub’ attribute is an added advantage, making him even more impactful when introduced late in games, resembling a faster version of Inzaghi. If you enjoy fast-paced, counter-attacking football, he’s an excellent choice.

Gabriel Batistuta

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher
  • Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Finishing

Gabriel Batistuta is the type of forward who can net goals from virtually any spot on the field. He boasts an impressive shot force, and his ability to finish, whether inside or outside the penalty area, is top-notch. Unlike Michael Owen, he possesses the muscularity to ward off defenders, which makes it tougher for opponents to dispossess him. Moreover, he poses a significant threat in the air, so crosses and set pieces become potentially lethal when he’s near the goalmouth.

He may not be as swift as Owen, but he boasts impressive speed when it comes to picking up pace, ensuring he won’t feel sluggish. His passing skills are less than average, making him more of a pure goal-scorer rather than a team player who links up with his colleagues. If you’re looking for a striker who can net from headers, volleys, and long shots while remaining effective within the box, protecting the ball, Batistuta is an excellent choice that you won’t regret selecting.

Rui Costa

  • Position: CMF
  • Playing Style: Hole Player

As a gamer, let me tell you, finding a character like Rui Costa on the field is nothing short of a game-changer compared to the other options. This guy, he’s an attacking midfielder who makes it all look so effortless, it’s almost as if he’s playing on easy mode. His ball control is silky smooth, and his passing? It’s top-tier stuff, whether it’s quick short passes or long through balls that slice through defenses like a hot knife through butter. He’s the kind of player you’d want calling the shots in midfield, constantly setting up your strikers with chances that would make any seasoned gamer smile.

Despite not being the quickest player, he maintains a good rhythm or tempo, but won’t contribute significantly defensively. Given this, I would recommend deploying him as either an Attacking Midfielder (AMF) or Second Striker (SS). He has an acceptable level of physicality, yet lacks the power to overpower midfield skirmishes. Instead, he performs optimally in a setup that allows him room to maneuver and create opportunities, rather than focusing on defensive duties.

Best pick from European Clubs Attackers pack in eFootball 2025

It’s quite obvious what I’m picking, but the selection isn’t exciting because it’s another pack focused on strikers, which feels repetitive these days. Among the strikers, Rui Costa, despite lacking a Show Time skill, is an excellent addition due to his versatility in any midfield role and the Hole Player playstyle, making him my recommended choice.
