In the latest update for eFootball 2025, the Epic Worldwide pack has been released once more, including legends like Ronaldinho, Philipp Lahm, and Jan Koller. You might recall that these cards have made an appearance in the game before.
At first glance, it seems like a wise investment, but should we really spend our money on these cards? Let me provide you with a summary and weigh the pros and cons to help determine if they are worth buying. Also, keep in mind that when the updated version launches in 2026, it might be worth revisiting this decision.
Epic cards from the Worldwide pack in eFootball 2025
In a similar fashion, you’ll find approximately 150 individuals within this group, each possessing three Epic cards, and all of them acquiring the Show Time skill.
Ronaldinho
- Position: AMF
- Playing Style: Hole Player
- Showtime Skill: Momentum Dribbling
This Ronaldinho card was initially added to my team back in May with the Brazil 2002 set, and it’s been a recurring member since then. At the time, I found him to be like a spellbinding magician on the field, and that sentiment still holds true.

He continues to exhibit incredible speed in acceleration and exceptional ball handling, particularly during exercises focused on dribbling and tight possession. “Momentum Dribbling” still gives him a sense of fluidity and danger when facing one-on-one situations, but I’ve been shifting towards a more passing-focused approach in my recent training strategies.
Despite the passage of time, his Low Pass stat remains robust. When he maneuvers through those confined playing areas, he’s capable of delivering precise passes that could be game-changing, or even execute a shot on goal himself. However, I have other preferred choices for the AMF position, or even SS, but this player card is a reliable choice as a starting player.
Philipp Lahm
- Position: RB
- Playing Style: Offensive Fullback
- Showtime Skill: Edged Crossing
Lahm is consistently dependable on the field and can be considered one of the top players in the flanks. He’s swift, maintains his composure when handling the ball, and defends like a solid foundation. Regardless of whether he plays as a natural right back or is moved into midfield, Lahm always performs effectively.
His “Crossing with Edge” skill is quite formidable, and it plays a significant role, depending on the build you assign to him. Consequently, I find that the versatile midfield role, encompassing elements of both a defensive midfielder (RB) and an attacking midfielder (RMF), is ideal. This position allows him to contribute at both ends of the pitch effectively, leveraging his “ball-winning” abilities and expansive “passing range”.
The highest-rated card you can obtain in that game is one with a rating of 107 at RMF (Role Model Fantasy). To make the most out of this card, train it for its designated position, develop it accordingly, and ensure its defensive stats are around 80s. This setup tends to function effectively.
Jan Koller
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Target Man
- Showtime Skill: Buller Header
In March, when the so-called National Attackers team was introduced, I had my doubts about how effective Koller would be in competitive squads. However, after giving him a try here and there for several months, he’s won me over with the right usage.

Standing at 202 centimeters tall, he continues to rule the skies, particularly with his spectacular “Bullet Header” move. I’ve often used him in combination with cross-focused formations, and I must say, he’s quite effective as a finisher. However, his weak foot isn’t something to rely on; it feels almost non-existent.
Edged Crossing brings out his best; he’s well-positioned and often comes close to winning aerial battles, but there’s a noticeable inconsistency that I found recurring quite frequently. It’s unclear whether it’s the card or KONAMI adjusting the gameplay mechanics. If you enjoy incorporating crosses into your game strategy, this could be an excellent choice for you.
Best pick from the Epic Worldwide pack in eFootball 2025
It seems there’s no significant problem with flipping coins, but it feels like you could be saving those coins for a more worthwhile purpose. Perhaps a larger pack will be available in eFootball 2026 featuring new player types, so consider holding onto your coins.
