Story Highlights
- eFootball 2025 has introduced the Epic European Clubs Midfielders pack.
- Featuring Vieira, Platini, and Davids, all three get a Show Time skill.
In the upcoming eFootball 2025, the Epic European Clubs Midfielders pack is designed for fans who prefer a solid starting trio in the midfield. Boasting legendary players like Patrick Vieira, Michel Platini, and Edgar Davids, this collection provides a diverse blend of playstyles to ensure your midfield is well-equipped and effective.
With eFootball 2025 wrapping up and the new 2026 edition set to launch next month, I understand that many players may be trying to save their coins. Indeed, this pack is quite appealing for those aiming to dominate the midfield. However, are they truly worth the investment? Let’s delve into their stats and assess where they excel.
Epic cards from the eFootball 2025 European Clubs Midfielders pack
Again, a 150-player pack where we have 3 Epic cards. All three Epic players get a Show Time skill.
Patrick Vieira
- Position: CMF
- Playing Style: Box-to-Box
- Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Pass
Vieira is the midfield leader every team desires. He’s a player who dominates space, disrupts plays, and restarts the action with cool accuracy. Standing tall and powerfully built, he possesses an unyielding energy that allows him to run from one box to the other throughout the entire game.

In terms of ball control, he’s remarkably calm with excellent passing skills and reasonable command over the ball given his size. Defensively, he’s like a rock, demonstrating outstanding physical qualities for a player ID and instinctively understanding the game’s flow, making impactful tackles that consistently halt opponents’ momentum.
In essence, he’s got a knack for ball control, but it seems to tighten up under stress – an issue not encountered in his previous cards. His Show Time ability is quite appealing, especially during defensive-to-offensive transitions. Given his B2B playstyle and ST skill, I believe he’d excel best as a Central Midfielder in a versatile formation setup.
Michel Platini
- Position: AMF
- Playing Style: Classic No. 10
- Showtime Skill: Momentum Dribbling
In this version, the stats are almost identical to his National Attackers Pack, but there’s a significant difference – Platini plays with the style of a Classic No. 10. Although some players might not favor this playstyle, it’s a card that many players aiming for an elite SS/AMF in their squad would appreciate having.
As a gamer, I’d have preferred HP (High/High) for my player, but instead, I’ve got Momentum Dribbling skill which is one of the best Show Time skills in the game, significantly boosting Platini. While his dribbling might drop to mid-90s, it allows me to invest those points into improving speed or physical attributes instead.

I provided him with a skillful soccer setup, and I can attest that his touch is as soft as silk, allowing him to navigate through congested areas effortlessly using momentum dribbling. This ability makes it simple for him to outmaneuver defenders. His ball control is exceptionally fluid, making him a breeze to employ in the game.
He’s not missing any crucial offensive or ball-handling abilities; his finishes are remarkably precise. He possesses the characteristics of a technical mastermind, and the numbers back this up, particularly scoring in the mid-to-high 90s for dribbling and finishing. Could he be a striker in the final phase? Absolutely. If you’re curious, consider Position Training him as a Forward; his rating is 107 there.
Edgar Davids
- Position: DMF
- Playing Style: Destroyer
- Showtime Skill: Long-Reach Tackle
This player is a nuisance when it comes to ground defense. To put it simply, David in eFootball is relentless with his pressure, swiftly moves into tackles, and never gives opponents a moment’s peace. He’s quick, assertive, and always seems to anticipate the right moment for an interception or tackle.

The Long-Reach Tackle ability is quite beneficial; he extends his reach for crucial situations, securing the ball more times than not. Given that his player profile covers shorter leg areas, this trait proves advantageous. Interestingly, he demonstrates a better-than-expected passing game and maintains reasonable close control.
An additional advantage is his quickness. His speed and acceleration in the 90th percentile make it effortless for him to cover large areas. He maintains high speed and endurance throughout the game, ensuring he can keep up all match long, even when fatigue sets in later. However, while he’s strong physically, his aerial skills leave much to be desired. Players like Vieira excel in that area instead.
Best pick from the Epic European Clubs Midfielders pack in eFootball 2025
Among the trio, Platini undeniably takes the throne for me when it comes to his role, while I’d rank Brazil’s Zico and World Classics Cruyff at the top two spots in my book. If you’re searching for a midfielder who excels on both ends of the field, Vieira is an exceptional all-around choice from this group.
a Defensive powerhouse, a midfielder for business-to-business play, and an offensive midfielder – all top-tier talents in their respective positions. If you ask me, it’s a clear choice for those looking to improve their team.
