eFootball 2025 Club International Cup 2025 pack review

Story Highlights

The pack now includes both “Big Time” and “Show Time” cards in it, as the upcoming game, “eFootball 2025,” unveils its lineup for the “Club International Cup 2025.” Interestingly, these three choices are fresh from the recently concluded “FIFA Club World Cup,” and they seem like excellent additions to the roster.

Cole Palmer shines brightly for you in this Big Moment, following an outstanding performance at the finals with a double. Meanwhile, Joao Pedro steps up as our Show Stopper. Last but not least, Marquinhos from PSG rounds off our Striker team. Now let’s see how they perform. It’s time to discover their skills!

The deck in Palmer contains 150 cards, and one of those cards is called the “Big Time” card. The other two cards carry the name “Show Time.

Cole Palmer

  • Position: RMF
  • Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
  • Showtime Skill: Momentum Dribbling

Palmer exhibits an exceptional grip on the ball. His masterful command over the ball and his ability to retain possession are top-notch, making him incredibly graceful in the wide attacking zones. He has a lanky physique, yet it doesn’t hinder his agility; his movements are swift and fluid as he navigates the field. His stats often skyrocket, but maintaining mid-90s is an ideal balance.

This player exhibits excellent speed and balance, and his ability to perform the Double Touch and Cut Behind & Turn skill combination makes him an enjoyable character to control while dribbling. His passing is top-notch, particularly short passes and through balls in the final third. He may not be a frequent shooter, but his good shooting skills offer unexpected opportunities to outwit the goalkeeper, providing options for more precise shots if desired.

Improving your weak foot stats might not yield consistent results when playing on the right side. Consider positioning him as either a Screaming Sidebar (SS) or an Attacking Midfielder (AMF) if you’re looking for a player who can advance the ball and generate opportunities regularly. Additionally, ensure that his build is suitable for these roles. In my view, Outside Curler should be one of his key skills.

João Pedro

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Deep-Lying Forward
  • Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Finishing

Here’s an intriguing playing card; the Deep-Lying Forward role isn’t typically favored by many, but in this case, Joao Pedro certainly fits the bill. At first glance, I’d describe this card as dynamic. His exceptional 90s acceleration is evident right away, providing a welcome burst of speed for a striker.

As a gamer, I’d say this guy’s got a solid balance and decent physical interaction with the ball that makes him tough to dislodge. He’s got a great player ID and can pack a punch when shooting, plus his finishing is dependable in most scenarios. However, I think he could use a boost in speed since it seems a bit sluggish compared to other stats, so I’d recommend reducing the power slightly to prioritize that extra agility.

As a passionate supporter, it’s clear that this player doesn’t meet the expectations for a Dream League Fantasy (DLF) team; he excels at dribbling, but his one-touch pass skills leave much to be desired – a crucial ability for my preferred playstyle. His weak foot is decent, though not exceptional, making him somewhat typical of a Show Time striker. If he had a Goal Poacher style, I believe he would have performed better in my opinion, but there are plenty of other options available.

Marquinhos

  • Position: CB
  • Playing Style: Build Up
  • Showtime Skill: Fortress

Marquinhos is one of the most versatile Central Defenders in the game, showcasing both speed, aggression, and proficiency in both ground and aerial challenges. His defensive capabilities are impressive, with his auto-build stats in defense reaching almost unbelievable heights.

It appears that many struggle with the fact that he’s not particularly tall and seems to have difficulty with aerial plays. However, this doesn’t seem to be an issue for him as he excels in speed and acceleration, surpassing the 80-mark in both categories, thus proving that he’s far from slow.

He’s also very physically robust, enabling him to stand his ground against larger forwards. His jumping ability is exceptional, making him an excellent defender of set pieces. However, what could have elevated this card as a top choice was assigning him the “Aerial Dominance” Special Technical skill instead of “Fortress.” Lastly, don’t forget to include the “Sliding Tackle” and “Air Mastery” skills, which are essential.

Best picks from the Club International Cup pack in eFootball 2025

In simpler terms, while these new cards appear powerful, they’re not on par with the game-changing ones we’ve seen before. If you’re a beginner, opening this pack is impressive, but for experienced players, there are better options available.
