Eddie Murphy’s son and Martin Lawrence’s daughter are engaged! Eric proposes to Jasmin with gorgeous ring

As an ardent fan of the dynamic duo, Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence, this news about their upcoming family expansion has me positively beaming! The thought of these two legendary comedians becoming in-laws is nothing short of a dream come true for me.

Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence are going to be in-laws.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I am thrilled to share that after over three years of cherished moments, my dear friend Murphy’s son, Eric, aged 35, has found eternal love with Lawrence’s daughter, Jasmin, who is also 28. This joyful announcement warms the heart and reaffirms the magic of love!

The love birds shared a video of the proposal to both of their Instagram accounts on Saturday.

In the video, Eric guided Jasmin into a chamber adorned with drifts of white rose petals and clusters of both pink and white roses.

The room was lined with candles and featured a large red heart on the wall. Eric got down on one knee and proposed and Jasmin said yes! 

Earlier this year, Eddie opened up about how he feels about his son dating Martin’s daughter. 

In the summer of 2021, the pair began their romantic journey together, and Jasmin publicized their relationship by posting about it on Instagram for Eric’s birthday.

It isn’t clear exactly how they became acquainted, but given their history together, it seems likely they have been friends for quite some time.

Their fathers have been friends for years and worked together on the movies Boomerang and Life.

‘They’re both beautiful, they look amazing together,’ the Coming To America star, 63, said.

Murphy and Lawrence, 59, are even talking about their potential grandchildren.

The actor from the Netflix sequel of Beverly Hills Cop 4 humorously commented, “It’s amusing how everyone asks, ‘What could possibly be comedic about this character?’

He continued, saying: ‘Our gene pool is gonna make this funny baby.’ 

As a devoted follower, I emphasized my point by saying, ‘Should they tie the knot and welcome a child into their family, I’m anticipating that little one to have a great sense of humor.’

Eric is the oldest child born to Eddie and his ex-partner, Paulette McNeely. He is a writer and voice artist by profession.

Jasmin is the oldest child born to Martin and his former wife, Patricia Southall. She made a brief appearance in her father’s latest film titled “Bad Boys for Life.
