This couple, bound by marriage since 2019, are blessed with two young daughters – Lyra, aged four, and Jupiter, who is two. They both hail from the very same hometown nestled in Suffolk.

‘Cherry is the biggest grounding force,’ he said.

He explained: ‘Anytime there is something a little bit too Hollywood, she’ll be like, “bro, cmon”.

Since she was a significant part of my childhood, I can’t help but view our shared experiences through the perspective of Suffolk. My idea of constructing a bowling alley in our yard was met with a firm ‘no’ from Cherry.

She realized it wasn’t necessary for us to have it. She doesn’t prefer our children growing up in a mansion, with a McDonald’s restaurant right in our backyard.

Ed, with a pub, cinema, and recording studio tucked away in his garden (all interconnected by tunnels leading back to his home), brought up the movie “Richie Rich” from 1995 – a film where Macaulay Culkin portrayed the son of a wealthy business tycoon.

He explained that he constructed a pub within his garden because there was once a nearby pub he frequented for relaxation purposes.

Eventually, my frequent visits and excessive drinking became known, which made it difficult for me to continue going there as often or getting as intoxicated as I desired.

On my property, there’s an old barn. To utilize this space more effectively, I acquired both a building (originally a shop) and a tavern from eBay. I then took care of all necessary internal systems like plumbing and wiring within these purchases.

Currently, there’s a connecting tunnel to it directly from the house. Inside this space, I’ve constructed both a soundproof listening room and a private cinema. That’s essentially my personal underground complex.

Apart from sharing his musical updates, the artist additionally disclosed that he has achieved sobriety due to his demanding workload. Previously, he admitted to drinking daily, and he reminisced about an especially awkward moment in his past.

He shared an embarrassing story about a time when he’d had too much to drink, fell asleep in his hotel room without any clothes on, woke up needing to use the restroom, and accidentally locked himself out.

As a diligent guest, I found myself in a situation where I needed a napkin, so I ventured to retrieve one from the room service and made my way down to the reception desk at 4 am, requesting they grant me access back into my room.

I had the security guard erase all video recordings from the CCTV cameras, and I prefer wearing pajamas when traveling.

‘I’m sober at the moment so that’s helping with not doing stupid sh**.

This year’s schedule includes my album release, global travels, coming back home, and balancing it all while being a father.

Instead, I prefer not to burden myself with additional fatigue, so I’ll abstain from alcohol and aim to stay alert and energetic instead.

I may not always abstain from alcohol completely, but I have certainly transformed my connection with it. Previously, I would consume alcohol daily – not hard liquor, but a daily glass of wine in the evening.

Once a week, my wife and I set aside a special evening for our “date night.” During this time, instead of drinking every night, I prefer to indulge in a glass or two of wine. We savor the moment together, making it a more enjoyable experience than our regular nights.

In the year 2014, Ed and Cherry reignited their relationship, and they officially became husband and wife at a small wedding ceremony five years after that in 2019.

Fans were taken aback when it was revealed in May 2022 that they had already given birth to their second child without announcing the pregnancy to most people; instead, they informed only their immediate family members.

In the year 2021, I found myself expressing that the arrival of my daughter, Lyra, was nothing short of a blessing and a miracle. After facing challenges in conceiving together with my partner, this beautiful soul has truly been a ray of light in our lives.
