Ed Sheeran reveals the terrifying thing crazed fans threatened to do to his daughters after breaking into his home

Ed Sheeran disclosed that some overzealous fans have made threats about kidnapping his young kids, and in extreme cases, have even invaded his home.

On Sunday evening, the British singer, parent to Lyra (age 4) and Jupiter (age 3), both shared with Cherry Seaborn, revealed to Australia’s 60 Minutes that he implements thorough safety precautions in response to various threats.

Ed mentioned that some disturbing fan interactions are often overlooked by many, he stated.

‘Like kidnap threats and s**t like that. We’ve had attempted break-ins, things left on my car. 

‘It’s way more sinister than just fans turning up and wanting selfies.’

Ed said that he has had to accept that his family will always need protection.   

The pop star sadly acknowledged, “Our high level of security isn’t likely to decrease unless something happens to me – this is simply how our lives are now.

In a clear manner, it can be said that Ed emphasized that he takes great care in safeguarding the privacy of his daughters, forbidding fans from taking their pictures. He’s prepared to confront anyone who attempts to do so.

‘I’ve had some real arguments before,’ he said.

I don’t mind taking photos, but I find it odd when the subjects are both aged around 4 years.

The artist known for his hits on bad habits confessed that he yearns for a more ordinary life for his family, yet acknowledges that stardom comes with its challenges.

‘To be within the public sphere, you have to take it all, the good and the bad,’ he said. 

‘But I think I would definitely want a more normal life for my kids.’

Ed married his childhood sweetheart Cherry in 2019. 

In 2014, the duo, who had grown up as neighbors in a town in Suffolk, reignited their relationship, and they officially became husband and wife at a modest wedding five years after that.

It comes after the news that Ed will be heading Down Under next year. 

Known worldwide, this celebrity, who recently graced Australian stages for his Mathematics Tour early in 2023, has revealed plans to perform multiple concerts nationwide during his Loop Tour.

The musician who’s famous for hits from The A Team will begin his tour in New Zealand by playing concerts at various stadiums located in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch. After that, he plans to travel across the Tasman Sea.

Beginning the Australian segment of his tour, Ed starts off in Perth at the Optus Stadium on January 31st. After that, he moves to Sydney’s Accor Stadium for two performances, one on February 13th and another on Valentine’s Day.

Next, a 34-year-old individual is planning to visit Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium for concerts on the 20th and 21st of February, followed by performances at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on the 26th and 27th of the same month.

Ed concludes his nationwide tour on March 5 at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide, which signifies more than a month of travel around the country.

The upcoming tour will offer Australian fans an innovative new concert experience, featuring tracks from the eagerly awaited album titled “Play.
