Eckhaus Latta Spring/Summer 2026 Elevates Its Downtown Cool

I was so excited to see Eckhaus Latta‘s latest presentation, especially after hearing about Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta’s first CFDA nomination! It was held in this cool, slightly hidden spot on Walker Street – we all had to climb three flights of stairs, which felt very New York – and honestly, it felt like their most refined and put-together collection yet. It was a really special show!

The show’s brief description stated, “God has a plan. We’re all just serving in his strange little world,” and the designs themselves were cheerful and airy.

I was really drawn to the vibe of the new collection – it felt all about layering and relaxed fits. The designers clearly wanted everything to be comfortable and easy to wear, and that came across in both the men’s and women’s pieces. The show started with a lot of monochromatic looks – think sheer fabrics mixed with classic denim, sharp suits, and trousers that weren’t too tight. It was a really cool combination of textures and styles.

I was really loving the cut-out tees they showed – they were so cool, right around the stomach! Then, the show ended with a burst of amazing red and orange outfits. It was such a great finale, especially seeing Zoe Latta take her bow in white with her brand new baby. Seriously adorable!

The downtown brand, though becoming more polished, still maintained its relaxed and easygoing vibe during the show. Models wore things like eye masks and flip-flops, and one even walked the runway smoking, contributing to the brand’s effortlessly cool image.
