EastEnders Stars Danielle Harold & Max Bowden’s Mysterious Unfollow Post-Antiques Show

Danielle Harold and Max Bowden, both from EastEnders, stopped following one another on social media following their joint appearance on Celebrity Antiques Road Trip.

In 2023 and 2024, two actors were let go from the BBC soap opera. Fast forward to this past Friday, these former cast members came together for a special episode of an auction program, where they made their appearance.

However, even though they talked about their strong bond during that episode, it seems there has been an unexplained disagreement or conflict between them now.

Alternatively, Although they spoke of a tight friendship in the show, it appears there’s been some sort of secret dispute or fallout between them more recently.

Danielle, after her character Lola Pearce passed away from a terminal brain tumor in the soap, expressed their strong bond by saying, “We were extremely close, very close indeed.

In conversation with Ishy Khan on Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, she remarked: “It’s refreshing to engage in some light-hearted activities. On EastEnders, the storylines can be quite intense and emotionally draining.

Ishy added of Danielle and Max’s friendship: ‘You can tell there’s love there.’

Dannielle continued: ‘Yeah, there is. He loves me really. He pretends like he don’t, but be does.’

Max mentioned: ‘Together, we crafted some deeply intriguing and aesthetically pleasing narratives, which resulted in us spending considerable time in close proximity. This is why we feel so at ease with one another.’

According to a source, it’s quite peculiar that Max and Danielle, who were once incredibly close and maintained their friendship even after leaving the show, would choose to stop following each other on social media so openly.

TopMob has contacted representatives for Max and Danielle for comment.

Last year, the actor who played Ben Mitchell on EastEnders departed from the show following a span of four years. This was allegedly after he faced warnings from superiors concerning his actions outside the set.

On Sunday, The Sun suggested that the choice to let Max’s contract expire came following instances where disciplinary action was required against him.

According to a source, Max is preparing for a change. He takes great pride in his experience on the show and all that he’s accomplished, yet he’s eagerly looking forward to upcoming ventures and planning his next steps.

In 2022, it was said that the actor held discussions with superiors regarding a meeting with high-level officials about his offscreen drama.

According to a TV insider, Max was summoned for a discussion with higher-ups. Not only is he a gifted performer, but he’s also consistently professional on set. Nevertheless, there were worries that his off-set social life might eventually become a source of disruption.

Following her departure from EastEnders, Danielle took part in the 2023 season of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, eventually becoming the fifth celebrity to be eliminated by viewer votes.

Although Danielle left EastEnders last year, she reappeared on Christmas Day, as Lola had pre-recorded a message for her daughter Lexi following her passing.

As an over-the-moon fan, I found myself immersed in the heartwarming scene where Lola engaged in a chat with her beloved partner, Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick), and their cherished daughter Lexi (Isabella Brown). The trio was unwrapping Christmas presents, making the festive atmosphere even more enchanting.
