EastEnders star shows off the results of her health kick as she reveals new secret behind her five-stone weight loss

Actress Lorraine Stanley, best known for her role on EastEnders, recently posted fresh pictures showcasing her impressive 5-stone weight reduction, which she discussed in light of her recent health-focused lifestyle changes.

The well-known television personality, aged 48, portrayed beloved character Karen Taylor on the BBC soap opera until she bid a permanent farewell in July 2023, as her role was removed from the show’s script.

Since she started living a new lifestyle, she’s been making changes for several months now. This week, she posted a fresh Instagram picture, flaunting her noticeably smaller figure with a sense of accomplishment.

Sharing a snap from a recent event, Lorraine looked gorgeous in a green and pink print co-ord.    

On her Instagram story, she shared an image that was previously posted on her main feed. She additionally disclosed a fresh achievement in her life makeover to her followers, saying, “I’ve been sober for five months and still enjoyed a great night of dancing! #Sobriety

For the past year, the actress has experienced a physical change and has been posting photos about it on her social media accounts.

Lorraine lost five stone in 12 months and now feels better than ever.

On Instagram at the time, she said: ‘What a difference a year makes.

‘Five stone down, feeling good, clean living, healthy choices, new me, healthy mummy.’

Her axing was as part of a shock cast shake-up and her final scenes were aired in December 2023.

Lorraine previously revealed she is struggling to find new acting gigs following her shock exit.

Later on, she openly discussed some of her challenges on an honest Instagram post – during her quest for fresh acting opportunities following her seven-year stint on the BBC series.
