EastEnders Star Lorraine Stanley’s Stunning Weight Loss Journey Revealed

Actress Lorraine Stanley, famous for her role in EastEnders, recently displayed her impressive weight loss journey, approximately a year following her departure from the soap opera.

The well-known television personality, aged 48, portrayed beloved character Karen Taylor in the BBC soap opera until she permanently departed from Walford in July 2023, as her role was removed from the show’s script.

Lorraine rejoiced her sister Karen’s birthday by posting fresh photos, expressing affectionate sentiments on her Instagram stories.

In the photographs, she was positioned beside her sister, dressed in a floral tunic top and a long khaki skirt, accessorized with large sunglasses.

‘Happy Birthday to my beautiful sister Karen. Love you millions,’ Lorraine captioned the picture.

Lorraine looked visibly happy as she stood beside her sibling, striking a pose for the camera.

In a different photo from the London Marathon, it was evident that Lorraine had lost weight as she encouraged snooker player Frankie Jakeway.

For the past year, she’s been through a remarkable physical change and has occasionally posted updates about it on her social media accounts.

Lorraine lost five stone in 12 months and now feels better than ever.

On Instagram at the time, she said: ‘What a difference a year makes.

‘Five stone down, feeling good, clean living, healthy choices, new me, healthy mummy.’

Her dismissal was a part of a significant change within the show’s cast, with her last appearances being broadcast in December of that particular year.

She previously revealed she is struggling to find new acting gigs following her shock exit.

Later on, she openly discussed some of her challenges in an honest Instagram post, detailing her search for fresh acting opportunities following her seven-year tenure on the BBC series.

Lorraine posted a snapshot of her homemade audition studio filled with numerous panels, lights, a tripod, and a seat, while she was getting ready to record self-taped audition videos for fresh submissions.

She openly confessed about finding it challenging to handle the props, and she shared with the audience that her on-screen son, Keegan Baker (portrayed by Zack Morris), generously offered some valuable insights to help establish a genuine atmosphere.

Zack leads the cast of Disney+’s Goosebumps as Isaiah Howard, as he continues his career in the US.

She set up her self-tape station in the attic, admitting she’s not tech-savvy, but she’s beaming with pride for managing it solo, having received helpful tips about gear from @_zack_morris.

‘Just finished one and it’s hard work… I’ll get there.
