Yesterday was an extraordinary day for us, marking our first encounter with the Strictly Team, along with all the impressive and skilled contestants. Encountering these pros on television is different from meeting them in person, and that’s putting it mildly. She went on to express being utterly amazed by the experience.

Following expressing gratitude to both EastEnders and Strictly for giving her the opportunity, the television personality mentioned that although the experience would be challenging, she planned to cherish each moment throughout this adventure.

Prior to the upcoming autumn premiere, the BBC has announced the list of well-known celebrities participating in this year’s competition.

In the upcoming event at Sopal, viewers will see Dani Dyer from Love Island, Alex Kingston known for acting roles, Olympic athlete Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, retired professional footballer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, YouTube personality George Clarke, and beloved RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant La Voix dancing in the ballroom.

Additionally joining the competition are Chris Robshaw (former rugby player), Ellie Goldstein (model), Thomas Skinner (TV personality), Vicky Pattison (presenter), Stefan Dennis (actor from Neighbours), Ross King (broadcaster), Karen Carney (former football player) and Kristian Nairn (DJ). They’ll all strive to win the sought-after Glitterball trophy.

Simultaneously, a number of professional dancers from Strictly, who were confirmed for season 23, are expected to return, with Gorka Márquez being the exception as he’ll be occupied judging the Spanish version of the show, Dancing with the Stars (Bailando Con Las Estrellas).

In light of the recent reports about someone being absent, we now welcome two new talents, Alexis Warr and Julian Caillon, to our show. However, this season’s partnering arrangements have not been revealed as of yet.

Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One and iPlayer in the autumn.
