EastEnders star Ben Hardy, 34, can’t keep his hands off actress Emilia Jones, 23, as the pair confirm their romance at Sabrina Carpenter’s BST Hyde Park gig

At BST Hyde Park last weekend, it was evident that actor Ben Hardy could hardly resist touching actress Emilia Jones, a clear sign of their growing romantic involvement.

Over the weekend, the actress who portrayed Peter Beale on EastEnders (from 2013 to 2015), now aged 34, was seen displaying affectionate public displays of affection with a 23-year-old CODA actress.

On Sunday, it was noticed that Ben and Emilia attended the same event as Sabrina Carpenter headlined at the American Express presents British Summer Time Festival held in Hyde Park.

In the VIP garden, the actor from Bohemian Rhapsody was quite affectionate towards the actress, passionately kissing and holding her while they waited in line for drinks.

As a trusted confidant, I can share that Ben found himself frequently drawn towards her, often attempting to seal our moments with a kiss whenever the occasion presented itself.

‘She didn’t seem to object and was all smiles.’

As I confidently strutted outside, I felt an undeniable sense of style in my fitted black racer-neck cropped top, low-rise bootcut jeans, and a gleaming gold Gucci belt, all complemented by a pair of sturdy chunky boots.

While Ben maintained a relaxed look with denim shorts that fell just above his knees, a red plaid shirt, and Converse sneakers.

Approximately two years have passed since his split from Jessica Plummer, his former EastEnders co-star, following the announcement of their relationship in 2021, and now a new romance has arisen for him.

Previously recognized actors reportedly found themselves drifting apart due to their packed working schedules.

According to The Mirror, it was said back then that Ben and Jessica’s hectic schedules made it difficult for them to maintain their relationship.

One source revealed: ‘Ben and Jessica were deeply in love, yet their jobs have kept them from spending much time together.’

‘Over time it’s taken its toll and recently they decided to call it a day,’ they continued. 

The break occurred despite their seemingly robust relationship in the summer of 2022, as they marked Ben’s 31st birthday six months later by taking a trip to Turkey for a vacation.

Ben and Jessica have previously been part of the EastEnders cast. Notably, Jessica played the character Chantelle Atkins from 2019 through 2022.

In the BBC drama titled “The Girl Before,” the pair shared the screen, playing the roles of Simon and Emma. As they acted out their on-screen relationship, they grew even closer off-screen.

Following several months of speculation, they eventually made their relationship official, not long after they were spotted showing affection in public during their appearance in a play, right in the heart of London.

After spending the night socializing with friends at Soho House, the couple was photographed appearing extremely close and comfortable near a taxi.

Ben and Jessica’s romance blossomed not long after news broke about his breakup with actress Olivia Cooke earlier in the year. At that time, it was said that their relationship had lost its spark.

Following his departure from Albert Square, Ben has secured multiple acting roles across films and series, such as Mary Shelley, Only the Brave, 6 Underground, and The Woman in White.

Over the past few years, the soap character Peter of his (Peter’s) experienced quite a stormy period on Albert Square, particularly when it comes to his sister Lucy’s tragic death at the hands of their sibling, Bobby.

Peter moved from the Square to start anew in New Zealand, with his former partner Lauren Branning later relocating there along with their son Louie.

Ben then went on to star in Hollywood films such as Bohemian Rhapsody and X-Men: Apocalypse.

In the Academy Awards, Bohemian Rhapsody bagged four out of the five nominations it received. This critically acclaimed movie raked in over $900 million globally at the box office.
