EastEnders Star Arrested After Stage Fight!

Reportedly, the ex-actor Des Coleman from EastEnders was taken into custody following an altercation at a wedding where he allegedly struck one of his bandmates in the eye.

Currently, the former EastEnders actor known for his portrayal of Lenny Wallace from 1996 to 1999, is now a member of a Rat Pack tribute group.

He has also featured as a guest weather presenter on Good Morning Britain and ITV News Central. 

Stars as Sammy Davis Jr., partnered with Paul Drakeley portraying Dean Martin, and David Alacey enacting Frank Sinatra in a Rat Pack tribute performance.

During the weekend’s wedding performance, it was reported that there was an incident between Des and David, leaving David with a bloody eye and impaired vision.

Reports indicate that he was initially taken into custody, however, once Paul clarified that David was the initial aggressor by throwing the first punch, he was subsequently freed without any charges being filed against him.

David told The Sun, “During the show, he paused the music. He declared, ‘I won’t do that,’ and then switched to a different track.

David instructed Des to withdraw his funds and depart, an order that prompted Des to request David to exit the stage and move into a nearby room instead.

Immediately upon entering, his punches started to land rapidly. I was frozen in fear, unable to respond or act. At that moment, my left eye was swollen shut, now filled with blood, and my vision was hazy.

The visitors were taken aback as I had bleeding from both my eye and nose. They retrieved some ice and dialed the authorities for help.

TopMob has contacted Des Coleman’s representative for comment. 

In the BBC series, Richard Elis’s character resided in a shared living arrangement with friend Huw Edwards. They often caused trouble for their landlord, Ian Beale, portrayed by Adam Woodyatt.

After his stint on the soap opera, Des has also been seen on Casualty. Later, he worked for both BBC News and ITV News Central. Currently, you can find him frequently presenting the weather forecasts for the Midlands region.

In August, when Laura Tobin took a prolonged absence from ITV’s main morning program, Des was brought on board as her replacement instead.

The TV weatherman shared with ITV viewers that she’s planning to step away temporarily from her usual morning segment for a bit of rest and relaxation.

Fans were thrilled to have Desmond back on TV, as he presented the weather; a true icon!
