Electronic Arts has quietly released its new cooperative life simulation game, The Sims Lab: Life Together, on iPhones in the Netherlands, Italy, and Sweden. The game, formerly called City Life Game with Friends, was previously tested on Android devices in some areas back in April. It’s the latest addition to the popular Sims series.

The Sims Lab: Life Together, formerly known as Project Rene, is nearing completion. It first appeared after a limited playtest, and was followed by a development update in 2023. Now, players can create Sims and explore a city within the game.

In this game, you can even model in a fashion show called Fashion Passion and play fun party games with friends, like Secret Sim. All of this helps you earn money to unlock your first apartment as a stylist. As someone who enjoyed the original Sims games but stopped playing the newer versions, this feels like a welcome return to form.

What I really love is just how much you can do in this game! You can run your own café, take on quests, and even go shopping for new clothes at the Thrift Shop. Honestly, it’s looking really good so far. The fashion show aspect especially reminds me of Dress to Impress on Roblox, which was a huge hit!
