In May, Eamonn fell off his chair live on air, shocking his GB News co-stars.

At 6:15 am, as the camera zeroed in on commentator Charlie Rowley, a distant crash echoed, causing Ellie Costello, his co-host, to exclaim “Oh my goodness!” or simply “Gosh!

Eamonn was then heard saying: ‘I’m fine, fine, fine, carry on, carry on.’

Caught off guard, Charlie struggled to carry on as the morning news broadcast abruptly switched to commercial breaks just a few seconds afterwards.

Following a lengthy six-minute pause, Eamonn reappeared on-screen with a joke, “I’m still kicking,” attributing the unsteadiness of his wheelchair to its faulty condition.

He mentioned that the chairs we have seem to have unstable wheels, and honestly, he isn’t fond of these chairs, he shared this with Ellie, his co-host.

Two weeks ago, I took a fall in my bathroom which required hospitalization and left me with a painful back injury. This incident came as quite a surprise to me.

‘And that hit me again right in the back. Really, really sore, really sore.’
