Eamonn Holmes Uses Walker at Denis Law Funeral
At the funeral of Manchester United soccer player Denis Law, Eamonn Holmes made use of a walking aid (or cane) to assist him.
The 65-year-old Northern Irish broadcaster was one of many celebrities who came to Manchester on Tuesday to express their condolences following the passing of the Scottish soccer player, who was 84 when he died last month.
Eamonn was seen getting out of a taxi ahead of the service as he prepared to pay his respects.
In his case, Eamonn, who confessed last year that he finds it hard to walk, was supported with a walker or a mobility aid known as a Zimmer frame.
In 2022, when he underwent back surgery due to a herniated disc, he’s since struggled to walk without assistance and frequently uses a wheelchair instead.
In January of the previous year, he expressed concern that the harsh truth might mean he would not regain the ability to walk unassisted.

In the year 2016, Eamonn had a surgery to replace both hips that went on for about three and a half hours. This was after he had endured severe pain for quite some time.
Eamonn had talked about using a wheelchair last December, when he issued a travel advisory for Christmas on his Breakfast program.
Over the holiday season, I found myself longing for a familiar train ride home like never before. Yet, amidst all the excitement and cheer, I couldn’t help but feel a pang of melancholy – a realization that I had become one of those ardent fans who miss their preferred mode of travel during special occasions.
He suggested that the train might just be a dream, but due to his current situation with a wheelchair, he heavily relies on others to board and disembark, making it extremely challenging for him.
‘I just threw that in… it’s not a concern to anybody, but there we go,’ he confessed.
Showing understanding of his predicament, co-host Isabel Webster empathically stated: “Indeed, many others in your situation would find this relevant too, Eamonn.
After Eamonn confessed that he believes it’s acceptable to deceive your partner in a romantic relationship, this statement was made – subsequent to his separation from Ruth Langsford.
During a discussion about the subject on his early-morning program on the channel, the GB News presenter, aged 65, admitted something.

On Monday, Eamonn disclosed that approximately one-third of individuals admit to fabricating information on dating apps in an attempt to appear more intriguing to prospective and existing partners.
Following a dating advisor stating that dishonesty erodes trust within relationships, Eamonn expressed a differing opinion, seeming to draw from his personal experiences.
As a devoted admirer, I couldn’t help but ask, “Does this outfit make me appear overly voluptuous, Jo?” But of course, it doesn’t! Now, does that mean I’m a poor soul then, Jo?
Eamonn commented: ‘The truth is, we’re all rather ordinary. When someone asks us to share our lives, we often feel the need to offer something extraordinary, but that’s rarely the reality. I find myself adding details that aren’t necessarily true – I have a tendency to exaggerate.’
As a dedicated follower of your quest for the most appealing match on that dating platform, I can assure you that lounging on the couch, watching TV, and munching on pizza isn’t exactly how one goes about finding their perfect match, is it?
On Sunday, it appeared that Eamonn’s former wife, Ruth, was enjoying herself quite a bit following their separation, as she went out with her close pal Lizzie Cundy for a ladies’ night out. She shared glimpses of the evening on Instagram.

The duo ventured to London for an extravagant dinner at Scott’s, located in Mayfair. There, they were accompanied by their friend and hospitality advisor, Elizabeth Taylor.
Ruth, aged 64, presented an elegant appearance with her long, blonde hair flowing freely, donning a stylish black blazer over a matching black top.
She lifted a glass filled with white wine alongside TV personality Lizzie, aged 56, who donned a black top adorned with a golden design around its collar.
The Loose Women panelist tagged her post with the title, “LADIES’ NIGHT OUT”, accompanied by an image showing wine glasses being cheerfully clinked together.
‘Girls night! Party like it’s your birthday. Laughter is the best medicine.’
