Eamonn Holmes slams ‘horrible’ former TV co-stars as he brands them as ‘false’ in scathing rant
Eamonn Holmes openly expressed his strong opinions about some of his past coworkers in the television industry, referring to them as “dishonest.
65-year-old celebrity from GB News teamed up with his fellow host Paul Coyte and rugged actor Ray Winstone for their most recent installment of the podcast titled “Things We Appreciate.
In an open chat, Ray shared his experiences of residing in Los Angeles and explained that the constant, manufactured glitz of Hollywood eventually led him to return to the United Kingdom.
He mentioned that he wouldn’t be able to reside in Los Angeles because it’s perpetually bustling, and furthermore, explained that even the gas station attendant is involved in the entertainment business. He likened it to every two minutes, with everyone eager to discuss only this topic.
Discussions often revolve around topics like birds, football, and boxing, similar to how conversations might focus on films. Los Angeles and Hollywood are fantastic locations when life is going smoothly, but they can be less appealing when times are tough.

Eamonn vocally showed his distaste towards the phony connections he’s encountered within the show business world.
The speaker expressed disapproval of the character, as well as their feelings towards ‘so and so’, in a teasing manner. They, however, seemed to prefer another individual, with whom they had difficulties interacting.
He continued, “The foundation of our business is exactly that. To put it simply, just as you might find yourself [Ray], I often find myself in trouble when I dislike someone, and they usually pick up on my feelings.
In my experience as a lifestyle guide, I’ve often found myself encountering individuals who may not be as charming as they initially seem. You might hear compliments like, “He’s wonderful, simply exceptional,” but don’t let those words blind you to their true character.
Expressing his honest opinions about celebrities’ authenticity, he stated: “When someone asks me, ‘Who is Ray Winstone like?’ this is what I think.
‘I truly think he’s wonderful and outstanding, and I don’t make such claims lightly. However, with so much misinformation around nowadays, it can be hard to tell truth from fiction.’
Although all three gentlemen concurred on the matter, none of them explicitly pointed out any individual whose opinions aligned with theirs.
In the year 2021, Eamonn departed from “This Morning” to move on to GB News, marking a change after 15 years of co-hosting the ITV program with his then wife, Ruth Langsford.

A source shared with The Mirror that Eamonn’s leaving ‘occurred perfectly timed for both him and ITV,’ given the fact that ‘all good things eventually conclude.’
In November it became known that Eamonn and his former spouse Ruth Langsford, who temporarily hosted the show on Fridays when Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were absent, had lost their weekly spot. This role has since been taken over by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.
In early January, both Eamonn and Ruth issued a similar message stating: “Starting Fridays, there will be a new team in charge. We wish Alison and Dermot a warm welcome similar to what we’ve received from you throughout the years.
‘Have a Ball you two!… It’s not Goodbye from us, it’s simply Au Revoir until the next half term.’
Eamonn, who hails from Belfast and was born in 1959, has been a regular feature on the show “This Morning” since 2006, working alongside his co-host Ruth.
Previously, he was the main host for ITV’s morning program, GMTV, which aired for the first time in 1993. During its run, he co-hosted with other longtime ITV figures like Kate Garraway and Lorraine Kelly.
However, he departed from the long-standing series in 2005, explaining that it had shifted excessively towards celebrity news, neglecting crucial current events.
After that, the speaker switched to co-hosting Sky’s Sunrise with Charlotte Hawkins, who eventually joined ITV as well. Notably, he resumed his role on the channel in 2006, teaming up with Ruth as the Friday hosts for This Morning.
Ruth had previously been a guest presenter on the show since 1999.
