Eamonn Holmes removes his wedding ring weeks after ex Ruth Langsford ditched her own band over a year after their split
Eamonn Holmes has removed his wedding ring, over a year since his spilt from Ruth Langsford.
Fans were taken aback when the television pair announced, on May 25th, 2024, that they had decided to bring an end to their 14-year marriage.
Even though Eamonn, aged 65, is now in a fresh romance with Katie Alexander, 43, he still wears his wedding ring on the appropriate finger.
During the broadcast on Tuesday at GB News, along with his co-host Ellie Costello, it was observed that he wasn’t wearing his ring on that particular day.
During his live performance, the host chose to go without jewelry. However, it’s known that Eamonn sometimes takes off his ring in private.

Recently, at the debut event for innovative luxury raffle firm Anchord UK, the celebrity was spotted without a ring on her finger.
A while after Ruth discarded her wedding ring, which was nearly a year following their separation announcement.
Since then, Ruth has consistently worn her wedding and engagement rings, stating to a fan that she doesn’t take them off ‘as I am still legally married.’
On a recent episode of her ITV show Loose Women though, Ruth revealed the rings were off.
In a recent Instagram post, Eamonn’s girlfriend, Katie Alexander, appears to hint at an engagement by showing a diamond ring on her wedding finger, following their confirmation of the relationship.
Katie, a presenter and marriage counselor, has been in a relationship since the middle of 2024, and speculation about an impending engagement has been circulating since December.
On her Instagram Stories, Katie shared a radiant selfie wearing a striped top, accompanied by a whimsical caption suggesting a coffee break amidst client meetings: “Taking a coffee break between clients?
In the photo, a sparkling diamond ring was noticeable, causing curiosity among followers. Yet, prior to any speculation growing, Katie swiftly dismissed such talks.

She explained that before people start jumping on the #ringgate bandwagon, it’s important to note that the camera view is actually showing the right hand ring finger.
On his GB News program on Tuesday evening, Eamonn shared a distressing health update following an unexpected fall while recording his news broadcast.
Eamonn, Ellie, and a pair, Tim Vincent (age 52) and Dawn Neesom (age 60), came together to talk about some fresh, interesting news stories.
Tim, an actor, emphasized during his appearance on Breakfast with Eamonn and Ellie that numerous studies indicate that regular exercise may lower the likelihood of developing cancer.
However, as the star outlined their research, Eamonn expressed his dismay, saying, “This leaves me quite sad because I was in favor of physical activity, yet I am physically incapable.
‘I’m in a wheelchair now.
Due to some limitations, I find myself unable to wear sneakers, change positions, use the shower facilities, perform activities, or even stand up right now.
A significant number of individuals struggle with physical exercise, which unfortunately can lead to a rise in the incidence of cancer cases.
Many people find it challenging to engage in regular exercise, which may contribute to a higher rate of cancer occurrence.

Tim replied: ‘Absolutely and that is an issue that everybody is going to face.
‘You’re obviously in a really difficult position.
Any form of physical activity seems beneficial, particularly for individuals who have previously battled cancer and are now able to engage in outdoor activities.
Over the past few years, I’ve been through a challenging health journey, undergoing a double hip replacement surgery, dealing with slipped discs, and managing persistent spinal issues.
Last month Eamonn fell off his chair live on air, shocking his GB News co-stars.
6:15 am found me fixated on commentator Charlie Rowley, when a sudden crash echoed off-screen. My heart leaped as Ellie Costello, my co-broadcaster, exclaimed, “Oh my goodness!
Eamonn was then heard saying: ‘I’m fine, fine, fine, carry on, carry on.’

Surprised, Charlie attempted to carry on, but the early morning broadcast interrupted with commercials just a few moments after.
Six minutes later, Eamonn came back on screen with a joke, saying “I’m still kicking,” attributing his delay to the unsteady wheels on his chair.
He mentioned that the chairs we have here have rather unstable wheels, and to be honest, we’re not particularly fond of these chairs, he told Ellie, his fellow host.
Two weeks ago, I took a fall in the bathroom which required hospitalization, and it left me with a painful injury on my back. This incident came as quite a surprise to me.
‘And that hit me again right in the back. Really, really sore, really sore.’
