Eamonn Holmes in Hospital After Fall: Chilling Update on His Ongoing Health Struggles!

Eamonn Holmes has revealed he was rushed to hospital on Friday morning. 

65-year-old broadcaster shared on Instagram that they’ve been dealing with significant discomfort following a fall at home and had to break the news.

Eamonn has been plagued with health woes following surgery on his back in 2022.  

In my role as a lifestyle expert, I found myself compelled to take a temporary hiatus from my GB News program due to an urgent need for a life-saving surgical intervention aimed at addressing my long-standing back issues.

His battle with chronic back pain started after a dislocated pelvis led to three slipped discs.

After his operation, he disclosed that even with physical therapy, his limited mobility still hinders him from performing basic tasks and leaves him dependent on others, a situation he referred to as “devastating for the soul.

This morning, he posted on X (formerly known as Twitter): “Put in a lot of effort at my physical therapy this morning; it was exhausting. However, since then, I’ve been sitting on my rear end for five hours, and I’m feeling guilty about being idle.

Struggling with limited mobility and needing help from others makes it hard for me to perform even basic tasks. To alleviate my worry, I sense a need to do some more foot exercises.

After his spinal surgery, he also experienced weakness in his left leg. Less than three weeks post-operation, Eamonn accidentally tumbled down a flight of 18 steps at his Weybridge residence, landing hard on the stone floor below.

The terrible accident nearly claimed his life, but miraculously, he survived with just a fractured shoulder and more fragile legs.

Previously, the host of This Morning openly acknowledged that his fall-induced shoulder injury posed a significant obstacle.

Eamonn shared with GB News that he had fractured his shoulder in a fall, indicating it was a significant obstacle requiring him to take additional time off for recovery.

These past couple of weeks have been quite challenging, but I’ve been making progress day by day. I’m keeping my spirits high and focusing on finding the good in each situation.

One year post-spinal surgery, Eamonn opted for a spinal and neck elongation treatment in September 2023, as he confessed he had difficulty walking.

Eamonn openly stated that he still hasn’t regained full health following his back operation. He confessed that currently, he is unable to run, walk, or engage in any activity other than watching television and eating.

Last year, I had issues with my back that I haven’t fully recovered from yet. To be honest, it’s not ideal, and I wouldn’t recommend this situation for anyone.
