Eagles of Death Metal drop dates for 20th anniversary of Death by Sexy tour

To mark the 20th anniversary of their album Death by Sexy, the Eagles of Death Metal will be touring in 2026. They’ll be playing the entire album, plus all their popular songs. However, founding member Josh Homme won’t be joining them on stage.

Joey Homme, also known for his work with Queens of the Stone Age, continues to contribute to the band’s albums, but he doesn’t often join them on tour. He enjoys the creative process of making music, but seems less interested in how well it’s received. Some musicians are simply driven by the act of creation itself.

If you’re not familiar with this band, be prepared for a lot of sarcasm and wit. They don’t play typical death metal; instead, they mix things up with a variety of rock styles like garage rock, rockabilly, and blues rock. The band’s founders, Josh Homme and Jesse Hughes (who often tours with them), usually go by different names.

Eagles of Death Metal announce 2026 tour dates

Homme goes by many names – Carlo Von Sexron, DP Pete, Zombie Zebra, and others. Hughes is equally enigmatic, sometimes seeming like the Devil or Boots Electric. Ultimately, it’s all about having a good time, for both the band Eagles of Death Metal and everyone who enjoys their music.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to see them perform live from the beginning of August until early September, and it’s sure to be a great show!

Tickets for the general public will be available starting Friday, March 27th, at 10:00 am local time. You can find more details on the Eagles of Death Metal’s website.
