EA Sports WRC 2024 Season Expansion Launches in October With New Cars, Stages, Moments, and More

As a seasoned gamer with years of rally racing simulations under my belt, I must say, the latest announcement from EA about the 2024 Season Expansion for EA Sports WRC has me revving my virtual engines! The inclusion of new locations like Tet Rally Latvia and Orlen 80th Rally Poland, along with the high-performance vehicles and licensed crews, promises a thrilling ride.

In October, it’s been announced that EA Sports World Rally Championship (WRC) will be getting an update for the 2024 season. This expansion will include fresh content across all three WRC classes, featuring new locations, significant moments, stages, powerful vehicles, and authentic crews, all licensed.

For the 2024 season, we’re welcoming two new events: Tet Rally Latvia, making its WRC debut this year, and Orlen 80th Rally Poland, back in the FIA World Rally Championship after a five-year hiatus. The latest Rally1 hybrid models from Ford, Hyundai, and Toyota, along with the Fiesta Rally3 Evo and GR Yaris Rally2 from Ford and Toyota respectively, will participate as well.

52 fresh liveries for 2024 WRC Season cars, along with 104 drivers and co-drivers, will be part of the upcoming game expansion. This winter, look forward to the new ‘Le Maestros’ DLC, which includes the new Briançonnet and Fafe routes. In spring 2025, anticipate the ‘Hard Chargers’ content, featuring updated stages – Umeå with its lengthy straightaways and tight turns, and Red Barn Arena with its forested path and tunnel. Additionally, the winding mountain course of Harvati in Acropolis Rally Greece will be included.

The new season, set for release on 8th October, is heading to EA Sports WRC. It will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. For more details about the forthcoming updates, check out our roadmap [here].
