EA Sports has revealed that it will be hosting two esports events for its main titles, each tailored to specific platforms. The games FC Mobile and FC Online are set to host their respective esports tournaments and mobile festival event in Shanghai, China this coming September. The FC Pro Champions Cup is slated for FC Mobile, while the FC Pro Mobile Festival will take place on the same stage, albeit with a slightly distinct schedule.
The highlight of the 2025 competitive season will be the FC Pro Champions Cup, an event spanning four days that showcases fierce competition between gamers in both FC Mobile and FC Online. Additionally, a separate celebration is planned to honor creators and professionals from around the globe.
Following a standout first season with FC Mobile and FC Online esports in 2024, we’re responding to the excitement with two consecutive events that escalate the competition even further,” commented Sam Turkbas, EA’s Senior Director of Esports Product.
FC Pro Champions Cup: Schedule and Format
The mobile event is scheduled for three days, starting on the 9th of September and ending on the 11th. Contestants must be at least sixteen years old when they register. The Knockout Stage will involve six participants who have advanced from Domestic Qualifying Events in a preliminary Group Stage.

In this tournament, each team plays every other team in their group exactly once, following a simple round-robin structure. Each match consists of two games, and at the end, the top two teams from each group move on to the playoffs. The remaining four teams then face off against one another in a cross-style league format for the remainder of the competition.
1. Semifinals: Winners fight it out to reach the Finals.
2. Second Chance Match: Losers compete again, facing off against the defeated semi-finalist from each pair.
