As the new year 2026 begins, details are emerging about upcoming heroes and a new Icon for FC Mobile. Leaks suggest several new Icons and Heroes will soon be available in the game. Following the return of Zlatan Ibrahimović as an Icon, EA has surprised fans by hinting that Gabriel Batistuta, nicknamed “Batigol,” will be the next Icon added to FC Mobile 26, along with a fresh set of Heroes.

Icons are legendary, retired footballers – true greats of the game. Heroes, introduced last season, are also retired players celebrated for their skill, but haven’t quite reached the iconic status.

  • Gabriel Batistuta: Gabriel Batistuta was a legendary Argentine striker known as Batigol, famous for his prolific goals for clubs like Fiorentina and Roma, and the Argentina national team. He has won multiple Copa Américas and an Italian Serie A title with Roma. One of Argentina’s all-time top scorers, he held the record for most World Cup goals for Argentina (10), scoring in three different World Cups before retiring in 2005.
