Buenas PH is partnering with leading Filipino creators to encourage safe, legal, and responsible online gaming throughout the Philippines.
Buenas PH, a licensed online casino operator, is working to make the iGaming industry in the Philippines safer and more trustworthy. They’re teaming up with popular content creators to fight against fraudulent and unregulated platforms that often target players. By partnering with leading gaming and streaming personalities, Buenas PH aims to build a more transparent and responsible online gaming environment in the Philippines.
Top creators join forces with Buenas PH for a safer iGaming community
This project unites popular figures from gaming and live streaming, such as Jayson Jay Luzadas (Boss Toyo), Edgar Dumali (ChooxTV), John Ferrer (Hypebits), and actor Mark Herras. Together, they have a combined social media following of over 150 million people. This large reach allows them to promote responsible and legally sound online gaming practices nationwide.
According to YGS Live founder Julius “Banoobs” Mariano, their collaboration with Buenas PH goes beyond simply providing entertainment. It’s about leveraging the power of their popular creators to build a positive, safe, and honest environment for all fans, ultimately fostering a more responsible online community.
The announcement was made during the first-ever Battle of the Streamers Grand Finals, held at City of Dreams Manila. Buenas PH sponsored the event, which saw top content creators compete for a PHP 11 million prize. The competition emphasized both skillful gameplay and fair play, was powered by Pragmatic Play, and broadcast on Loco Live. This highlights the company’s dedication to creating engaging, community-focused content and actively opposing the use of unauthorized platforms.
Fighting unlicensed platforms
With the fast growth of online gambling, it’s more important than ever to educate players. Online influencers are perfectly positioned to do this, as they can leverage their popularity and trustworthiness to direct players to secure, reliable, and legally-approved gambling sites.
By partnering with a licensed operator like Buenas PH, content creators are helping Filipino gamers easily identify safe and legal gaming sites. This effort will reduce the chances of players falling victim to scams and guide them towards trustworthy online casinos and iGaming platforms.
There are already people with large online followings in this area. We want to help these creators switch from platforms that aren’t officially monitored to a safer, regulated environment, explained Mariano.
As a gamer, it’s awesome to hear that people in the iGaming industry are taking steps to rebuild trust. It feels like things have been a bit shaky lately, so this initiative is a really positive sign that they’re trying to make things better for us players.
According to Jev Mark Macam, President of 888 Luxury Legacy Corporation, the industry experienced a loss of public trust last year. He believes regaining that trust requires openness, clear rules, and demonstrable security measures.
Setting a new standard for Philippine iGaming
According to Anthony Manguiat, the president of HHR Philippines Inc., having rules and oversight is crucial for keeping players safe.
The best way to address widespread access to gaming is through regulation, including verifying players’ identities, checking ages, and implementing safety measures. We view oversight from PAGCOR not as a hindrance, but as a way to protect consumers. Ultimately, gaming is a form of entertainment, and regulations are designed to ensure it remains safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Boss Toyo, a well-known representative for Buenas PH, emphasized the need to inform and educate the local community.
Content creation is now widespread, so it’s more helpful to educate people about what’s permissible and what isn’t, and to encourage responsible use,” he explained.
In addition to online activism, the partnership also focuses on local community work through Buenas Cares, which represents the brand’s presence in the Philippines. Led by Boss Toyo, these efforts involve people directly in volunteer activities, demonstrating Buenas PH’s dedication to giving back to the community.
With the Philippines’ online gaming scene growing rapidly, the partnership between Buenas PH and leading content creators is expected to build a more secure and trustworthy environment for players. They’re working together to define a new level of responsible and creator-friendly entertainment in the country.
