Fans have accused Dancing With The Stars professional Witney Carson of acting unfairly towards competitor Dylan Efron and his brother, actor Zac Efron.
Thirty-two-year-old Rylee Carson, who won the Mirrorball Trophy with Robert Irwin on Tuesday, posted a screenshot of a text conversation with her husband, Carson McAllister, before the show’s finale.
The image came from a Reel that has since been removed, where McAllister complimented her and called her performance ‘amazing.’ However, fans were more interested in the conversation right above the Reel.
Dylan’s brother, 38, finally arrived at the semi-finals on November 18th to cheer him on, and as McAllister noted, that brother was none other than Zac Efron, 33.
Carson replied: ‘I saw! They are trying to get votes.’
The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Carson and Efron for comment.

Okay, so there was a bit of a stir online recently. I saw a screenshot circulating where Carson said something about Dylan, Daniella Karagach’s dance partner, and honestly, people weren’t happy with it. It caused a quick reaction, and she ended up deleting the screenshot pretty fast – a classic move when something doesn’t land well with the public!
Fans on Reddit criticized Carson, calling her behavior ‘rude,’ and pointed out that she was acting like a hypocrite. They noted that Bindi, Robert’s sister, had also been there to support her brother, age 27.
Honestly, it’s just so disrespectful to even say that, let alone put it online! If he was truly worried about getting votes, he could have had Zac on every single week, you know? It’s like, why wouldn’t you? It feels like a really shady move, and I’m just so frustrated about it all!
Honestly, I cringed when I saw this post. It feels really off, especially since she seems to repeat this pattern with the Irwin family every single week. It just doesn’t look good.
‘As if she didn’t put Bindi in the dance two weeks ago and rely on Robert’s family and story…’
‘That’s just rude,’ another comment read.
‘OOP the shade, she could have cropped that one out LOL.’
‘Like it or not zac is his brother. Bindi has shown up almost every week.’

It’s similar to what Robert’s been saying, but that doesn’t make it false. Still, sharing it publicly was unnecessary – that’s a private discussion for you and your husband.
Why can’t his brother be in the audience? Witney and Robert always have Bindi with them, and she’s even joined them on stage before!
Some people defended Carson, arguing her message wasn’t meant to be negative and that critics were overthinking it.
Carson seemed to end any rumors of a disagreement with Dylan on Friday by posting a picture of him with his dance partner, Daniella, and writing a very positive message about them.
She told Daniella how impressed she was with her amazing instant dance foxtrot, exclaiming that Daniella was incredible and asking how she’d pulled it off.
I’m incredibly proud of you as a mom! I know it’s tough juggling everything, and you handle it all so gracefully.
She complimented Dylan, saying it was wonderful to see him improve each week and that she appreciated how humble he was. She added that she would always be a fan.
Zac was only present at the semi-finals, accompanied by his five-year-old sister, Olivia, who sat with him on his lap.
The High School Musical star missed the final round, where Dylan finished in fourth place. Robert, son of the late Steve Irwin, and Carson were the winners.
Dylan cried as he practiced the final dance with his partner.
He admitted he struggled with his performance in the early part of the competition. However, reaching the finale has given him a real sense of accomplishment.

But after three dances he ended just one point shy of Robert’s final score of 89.
Robert continues a family winning streak on Dancing with the Stars, following his sister Bindi’s victory in season 21, which she celebrated in the audience with their mother, Terri.
Robert honored Bindi by saying, ‘My sister said it best. Thank you for changing my life.’
Russell Crowe, the actor, sent a video message of support to Robert during the finals, playfully referencing his famous line from the movie Gladiator: ‘At my signal, unleash hell!’
It was Carson’s second win.
She previously took home the trophy with Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum Alfonso Ribeiro in Season 19.
