During a Caribbean vacation, Jenna Johnson, accompanied by her husband Val Chmerkovskiy and their son Rome, confidently showcased their family bond and physiques.
The Dancing With The Stars pro, 30 – who revealed Jason Kelce would be a ‘dream’ partner on the competition series – joined Val, 38, on their first family trip with the one-year-old.
During their unforgettable summer getaway at the Beaches Resort in Turks and Caicos, the group was additionally accompanied by Chmerkovskiy’s parents.
Last year’s new mother, Johnson, recently displayed her well-sculpted figure in a chic, white bikini top adorned with delicate pink flowers as intricate embroidery.
Moreover, she donned coordinating lower garments while she and her family enjoyed a refreshing dip in a spacious fountain situated within the picturesque vacation spot.
Her brunette locks were parted in the middle, and flowed down naturally past her shoulders.
On that day, Val basked under the intense sun, clad in a set of blue swimming shorts, and completed his look with a pair of sleek black sunglasses.
The skilled dancers enjoyed themselves immensely, striking various postures and demonstrating some entertaining dance steps amidst the spray of water.
In the afternoon, the family headed towards the sandy beach for a swim in the sea, while the pair meandered through the shallows.
In a sunny spot, Rome enjoyed himself immensely while playing with sand, buckets, and assorted toys. Meanwhile, Jenna and Val looked on nearby. At one instance, Chmerkovskiy tenderly kissed Jenna, which prompted a sweet grin from her.
Previously, Johnson had been open about her battles with infertility. When she announced the arrival of her first child, she referred to him as a ‘miraculous’ baby.
Jenna, Val, and their young son were given the opportunity to wander and discover more about the resort as well. The threesome were spotted pausing near some shrubbery where they plucked a sunny blossom to display it to Rome.
During their beach getaway, the family donned their finest outfits as they enjoyed their time at the shoreline. Remarkably, the mother of one stood out in a chic, sleeveless black dress adorned with lace accents.
Chmerkovskiy, hailing from Ukraine, opted for a simple outfit consisting of black pants, a plain white tank top, and an open-fronted brown shirt.
The happy couple was spotted with bright smiles on their faces, guiding their little boy’s hands through the sun-kissed sand.
Jenna and Val also paused to take a loving photo together as they cozied up together on the shore.
During a different outing, Val’s parents, Aleksandr and Larisa, also tagged along with the family, exploring the resort as the sun began its descent.
During an interview with People, the family gushed about the ‘perfect’ getaway to the Caribbean.
‘To us, family means the world. The opportunity to unwind and enjoy the stunning Turks and Caicos islands alongside Rome and my beloved parents is a genuine blessing. You see, they adore our son deeply and cherish each moment they can spend with him,’ Val shared with the media outlet.
In terms of air travel with their child, the couple shared that their boy is exceptionally easy-going during journeys.
‘We frequently go on business trips, but our pet Rome has accompanied us every time. He’s become quite an experienced traveler and we feel at ease having him join us.’
They stated, “We didn’t wish for parenthood to hinder our fun; now, our enjoyment is shared with Rome, and it’s the greatest.”
Regarding what they were eagerly anticipating about their journey, Jenna and Val shared that they were particularly thrilled about visiting the famous water park at Beaches, and also about spending some quality time unwinding together.
They opted for the Beaches Resort as their initial family vacation spot since it’s both high-quality and kid-friendly. As a family of three now, it proved an ideal destination where everyone could enjoy themselves.
2018 saw Jenna and Val share their exciting news – they were getting married. The wedding took place a year later, specifically in April of 2019.
In July 2022, the couple announced that they would be welcoming their first baby in January 2023, and indeed, Jenna delivered a son named Rome on January 10, 2023.
While on holiday, she additionally popped onto her primary Instagram account to post captivating moments from her trip, intended for her audience to enjoy too.
In a single Instagram post, Johnson caught everyone’s attention while wearing a playful light pink swimsuit and topping it off with a sun hat on her cascading hair. She struck a pose right on the beach as the vast ocean lay beyond her.

On Monday evening, while the family was unwinding at the resort, Jenna posted some pictures she had taken later on.
She dazzled in a form-fitting mini dress with no straps, featuring a cutout upfront and colors of green, blue, and white.
She had her hair combed down the middle and pulled back neatly into an elegant bun, keeping stray hairs away from her face.
Jenna and Val struck poses for photos while standing on a wooden walkway approaching the sandy beach, accompanied by Rome. Occasionally, their parents joined in for some spontaneous shots as well.
Once the sun went down, the group paused to take additional pictures together. To keep warm as the night grew chilly, Val put on a long-sleeve white top.
‘The dancer penned down, “Our family trip was truly unforgettable.” So far, we’ve created significant memories at both Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts.’
Initially, we enjoyed our honeymoon in St. Lucia back in 2019, secretly celebrated our pregnancy in Curaçao in 2022, and now we’re embarking on our first family trip as a family of three here in Turks and Caicos.
Jenna expressed her gratitude, saying, “We’re so grateful to these wonderful resorts for helping us create cherished family memories that we’ll always treasure!”
