DWTS judge Carrie Ann Inaba SLAMS Anna Delvey’s ‘dismissive’ exit from show
As a lifestyle expert with decades of experience in the entertainment industry, I must say that Anna Delvey’s dismissive attitude towards Dancing With The Stars left me utterly taken aback. It was not only disrespectful to her partner Ezra Sosa, who showed great dedication and grace in his debut season, but also to all the hardworking individuals behind the scenes who poured their hearts into making this show a success.
Carrie Ann Inaba, a judge on Dancing With The Stars, was surprised by Anna Delvey’s casual departure from the program. Anna came off as unconcerned or indifferent during her departure.
In the 33rd season of the competition, Delvey and her professional partner, Ezra Sosa, as well as actress Tori Spelling and her partner, Pasha Pashkov, were the initial pairs to be eliminated during the show on Tuesday night.
When co-host Julianne Hough asked Delvey what she was going to ‘take away’ from this series, she bluntly replied: ‘Nothing.’

Not only did she disregard the chance she received, she also overlooked her partner Ezra during his first season, as well as everyone else involved in the show – from the performers on stage, to those behind the scenes, and the entire creative team.
Regardless of Delvey’s questionable background, Inaba maintained that the program made every effort to ensure a ‘fair’ experience for her.
The professional dancer stated, “Everyone made an effort to ensure she had a chance on equal terms, but I believe she didn’t realize this, which is unfortunate.
‘A little gratitude could have changed the narrative.’
During a conversation after her elimination, Dancing With the Stars co-host Alonso Ribiero attempted to lighten the mood by jokingly saying to socialite Anna Delvey, “You enjoyed yourself. That’s enough. Enough.
In stark contrast to Tori’s glowing account, my take on the show’s experience is more down-to-earth. Even though I left in week two, I wouldn’t call it “unbelievable.” It was a unique journey, no doubt, but I prefer to keep things grounded and realistic.
Indeed, the audience was rolling with laughter at her sharp remarks, prompting a rush to social media platforms, where they labeled that particular exchange as ‘the most hilarious live TV comeback of all time’.
One Reddit user remarked, “My husband declared it his all-time favorite Dancing with the Stars moment,” while expressing sympathy for Ezra and wishing him a great partner in the upcoming season.
‘Why does she act like she was forced to do this show,’ another wrote with a laughing emoji.
A third added: ‘The funniest response I’ve ever seen on live TV. I feel for Ezra, he went all in.’
‘I couldn’t help but respect the honesty,’ continued a fourth.
‘This was awfullll (sic) omg I audibly gasped and covered my mouth at that answer,’ a fifth said.
“Ezra genuinely handles situations well with his quick wit and humor. And, when it comes to making amends for your actions on this program, if you haven’t shown any signs of redemption in your behavior, then perhaps there’s no need for discussion about it.
Others were equally as shocked.
‘I almost spit my drink when she said that,’ one admitted.
Supporting Anna’s response, someone else commented: “To be completely honest, shouldn’t we have anticipated a different reply? She only spent a few moments there.
Later on, Ezra shared with Extra TV that Anna’s reaction was ‘characteristic’ of her, stating, “I expected her to come up with something uniquely iconic, distinctly Anna Delvey, for her departure.
‘Of course she has to. It’s typical.’
On Tuesday evening, I found myself scoring a 17 out of 30 during my swiftstep performance set to KT Tunstall’s “Suddenly I See” from The Devil Wears Prada.
Judge Inaba told her to stop holding back.
‘You have the potential to go far if you just embrace it more,’ she said.
As a fangirl beyond words, I danced the rhythmic Rumba alongside the incredible Pasha Pashkov, all while “This Is Me” from The Greatest Showman played in the background. My performance earned me a score of 19 out of 30, but to me, each step was perfection.
In my role as a devoted follower, I must share that despite the collective judges’ scores and audience votes, Anna and Tori didn’t manage to secure enough support to continue in the competition. Regrettably, they were eliminated.

In the episode on Tuesday evening, Ezra inquired from Anna, who prefers to be called both a fashion enthusiast and businesswoman, regarding her feelings following her first week’s cha-cha performance to Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso during rehearsals.
She shared, “Following the dance, I felt incredibly joyful; however, upon checking my online comments, I ended up feeling quite disheartened.
Anna mentioned that ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ is among her preferred films, and she has spent a decade working within the fashion industry.
Actress Julia Fox, 34, then stopped by her practice session to cheer her up.
Julia remarked in a private moment, “It’s disheartening to witness such harsh behavior. I can’t help but think that if this was happening to their own sister or mother, they’d surely advocate for another opportunity.
‘You are going to win over America’s hearts,’ Julia said to Anna.
Anna remarked, “This week has been quite challenging,” and added, “Just as Miranda Priestly persisted through adversity, so will I.
