Dwayne Johnson, known for his height, stood much taller than his friend Kevin Hart when they both went to a lunch honoring first-time Golden Globes nominees in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.
The 53-year-old actor ran into comedian Kevin Hart while they were both at the red carpet of a glamorous event. They’ve collaborated on several projects together in the past.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is a significantly larger man than Bret Hart, standing at 6’5″ compared to Hart’s approximately 5’5″ with shoes.
Even though they were different heights, the two celebrities happily smiled for a quick photo together at the event.
Johnson looked sharp in an off-white suit, a light purple satin shirt, and white loafers.
Hart, 46, looked sharp in a dark gray suit, a white button-down shirt, and black loafers. He finished the look with a small brooch pinned to his lapel.
The two actors were also spotted sharing a laugh together on the red carpet before the event began.
The luncheon honored Johnson and Hart, who both received their first Golden Globe nominations.
The wrestler received a nomination for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for his starring role in the 2025 film, The Smashing Machine.
Kevin Hart received a nomination for Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy or Television for his Netflix special, Kevin Hart: Acting My Age.
The Golden Globes awards ceremony will be held next month on January 11th, and Nikki Glaser will be hosting the show.
The two actors have worked together before, appearing in films like Central Intelligence (2016) and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019).
Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart will both star in the next Jumanji movie, which is scheduled for release in 2026.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has playfully teased the comedian about being shorter than him, like he did during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show last year.
Dwayne Johnson playfully commented on his smaller stature in the movie Red One, saying it gave him a new perspective. He joked that having to look up at other actors made him realize what it must be like for Kevin Hart all the time.
When the wrestler took a photo with NBA star Shaquille O’Neal in June, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson jokingly said he looked like Kevin Hart in the picture, adding, ‘Love you, big brother!’
The actor has become close friends with Hart and has publicly talked about their relationship.
As a lifestyle expert, I remember when the news broke about the comedian’s car accident back in 2019. It happened in Malibu, and unfortunately, he sustained some serious injuries, including a fractured spine. It was a really tough time, and we were all sending him well wishes for a full recovery.
Looking back, things could have turned out differently for him, and he—as well as others—realized that. Johnson later told Kevin McCarthy in an interview that he was shocked when he first heard the news, feeling like his heart stopped and he couldn’t breathe.
‘Kevin’s one of the good ones. He’s one of the good eggs,’ the actor further expressed.

Lower completed her look with eye-catching gold earrings and stylish brown sunglasses.
Okay, let me tell you, Chase Infiniti absolutely slayed the red carpet! She wore this incredible orange dress – it was sleeveless, really showed off her figure, and had this gorgeous little train flowing behind her. It was a total showstopper, honestly.
Oh my gosh, her outfit was EVERYTHING, so she kept the jewelry super simple – she didn’t need much else, honestly. Just these delicate gold earrings and this amazing, bold ring on her left hand. It was perfect, letting the clothes really shine, you know?
Infiniti received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her performance in the film One Battle After Another.
Rhea Seehorn looked stylish in a long, floral dress and nude-colored open-toed heels.
She had shoulder-length blonde hair, styled with soft waves and parted to one side.

Wagner Moura attended the event wearing an olive green suit with a double-breasted cut and black loafers.
He’s been nominated for Best Actor in a Drama film for his performance in the historical thriller, The Secret Agent.
As soon as the luncheon started at the Maybourne Beverly Hills, guests began to chat and reconnect with each other.
Johnson was seen flashing a cheerful grin while holding a conversation with Seehorn at the event.
The actress was later seen with Eva Victor, who wore a gray satin dress and open-toed shoes to the event.
And after guests began taking their seats, Lower and Seehorn also posed for a quick snap together.
