Dwayne Johnson is unrecognisable in dramatic first trailer for new movie The Smashing Machine

A sneak peek at Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s latest film titled “The Smashing Machine” is out now, and you might find it hard to recognize him from the transformation he underwent for this role.

In this movie produced by the renowned independent studio A24, you’ll find the versatile performer portraying Mark Kerr, a two-time UFC heavyweight champion and gold medalist at the Pan American Games, among his numerous accolades.

This sports biography movie will detail not just his successful athletic journey, but also his struggles with substance abuse and his past relationship with Dawn Staples.

Johnson undergoes a significant makeover with a wig and facial prosthetics, metamorphosing into Kerr, making it challenging to recognize him as the same person.
