The upcoming season of Pokémon GO will kick off with an exciting start through the Necrozma Raid Day event. During this occasion, Dusk Mane and Dawn Wings Necrozma will make their comeback in Raids, giving trainers a chance to capture these potent Pokémon, last spotted during Pokémon GO Fest 2024.

Necrozma Fusion Raid Day coming to Pokémon GO

The Necrozma Fusion Raid Day will take place from 2pm until 5pm on Saturday, December 14.

Event Bonuses:

The following bonuses will be in effect during the event.

  • Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma will appear more frequently in raids.
  • Receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a total of seven).
  • Increased chance to encounter Shiny Necrozma in raids.

Additionally, there’ll be an entry pass for the occasion, costing around $5 (equivalent), offering you these advantages throughout the event.

  • Eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a daily total of 15)
  • Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles
  • 50% more XP from Raid Battles
  • 2× Stardust from Raid Battles

The bonuses will be active from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM, based on your local time. This means you’ll have an opportunity to participate in some additional Remote Raids after you’ve completed battling in your area. Additionally, there will be a Necrozma Raid Day Ultra Ticket Box available on the Pokémon GO Web Store. This box will come with a complimentary Premium Battle Pass at no extra charge.

Necrozma Adventure Effect moves to return

On this Raid Day, you’ll have another opportunity to secure the two formidable Necrozma Fusion forms in Pokémon GO – Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma. These remarkable Pokémon are among the best in the game, excelling not only in Raids but also in Player vs Player (PvP) encounters. Moreover, they possess an Adventure Effect ability, which can be obtained by merging Necrozma with either Lunala or Solgaleo.

As a gamer, I need 1000 units of Fusion Energy to merge Necrozma with my Pokémon. I can collect this energy by successfully completing Raids, which is similar to how Mega Energy works. Unfortunately, it’s still uncertain if Trainers will get another chance to encounter Cosmog, so keep your eyes peeled for updates on that front!
