Duet Night Abyss Demon Wedge Guide and how to get them

Are you enjoying the combat in Duet Night Abyss but finding it hard to keep up with other players’ damage in tougher levels? The key is likely Demon Wedges. These powerful upgrades are essential for strong late-game builds, offering significant stat boosts, unique effects, and ways to customize your character, ultimately deciding how well you perform.

Whether you’re just starting out or a veteran player, understanding Demon Wedges is key to becoming your best in the game. This guide covers everything about them in Duet Night Abyss – what they are, how to obtain them, how to upgrade and equip them, and how to get the most power out of each one.

What are Demon Wedges

Demon Wedges are special items in Duet Night Abyss that make your characters and weapons stronger than usual. They’re similar to relics or mods in other games, and each one gives helpful benefits like increased attack power, critical hit chance, skill damage, or improved defenses.

Demon Wedges are especially valuable because they can dramatically change how your character builds perform. There are two kinds: Character Demon Wedges and Weapon Demon Wedges. Character Wedges improve your hero’s core stats, and Weapon Wedges increase your damage output depending on the weapon you’re using.

These two types of slots are distinct – you can’t put a weapon wedge on a character, or a character item on a weapon. Both characters and weapons have six slots for Demon Wedges, but you start with fewer than that. You’ll unlock more slots as your characters and weapons become more powerful, encouraging you to continually improve them. Once all the slots are unlocked, you’ll have many more ways to customize and strengthen your builds.

How to get Demon Wedges in Duet Night Abyss

You can get Demon Wedges in Duet Night Abyss in a few different ways, depending on how far you’ve progressed in the game. The most reliable method is by completing Commissions, specifically the Noctoyager Manual missions found in the Combat menu. These missions reward you with Demon Wedges, and the harder the mission, the better the quality of Wedge you’ll receive.

At first, you’ll mainly find Blue and Purple Wedges from regular commissions. As you tackle harder challenges, you’ll start getting more powerful versions with improved stats. Don’t forget to use a Commission Manual before each mission – these items greatly boost your rewards, potentially doubling or tripling the number of wedges you get.

You can also get Demon Wedges by completing Covert Commissions. These are special missions that require Secret Letters. You can buy these letters from the shop after reaching Trial Levels 45, 50, and 60. Using a Secret Letter before starting a run increases your chances of getting a rare Gold-tier Wedge as a reward, letting you specifically target the ones you want.

Because the rewards are given out randomly, you may have to try a few times to get the blueprint you’re looking for. Once you get a Demon Wedge blueprint, you can make it at the Lunosmith in the Sanctuary. To forge a Gold Wedge, you’ll need materials like Carmine Globules and Coins, along with the blueprint. You can find these blueprints by defeating bosses, completing quests, and participating in special events.

How to upgrade Demon Wedges in Duet Night Abyss

Simply getting Demon Wedges isn’t enough—upgrading them is what truly makes a difference. Improving your wedges increases their stats, allowing you to become more powerful as you progress and build a stronger character to overcome difficult obstacles.

To improve your Demon Wedge, go to the Armoury, select the character or weapon it’s attached to, and open the Demon Wedge menu. Choose the wedge you want to upgrade, and then use Coins and Carmine Globules to raise its level. Carmine Globules are the main items needed for wedge upgrades and you can get them by completing Commissions and participating in combat.

Wedges come in different rarities, and each rarity has a limit to how much you can upgrade it. Rarer wedges have more stats and can become much more powerful with upgrades. However, upgrading a wedge increases its Tolerance cost. If the total Tolerance cost of your equipped wedges exceeds your character or weapon’s Tolerance Limit, you won’t be able to equip any more until you remove or lower the level of existing ones.

How to use Demon Wedges in Duet Night Abyss

To get the most out of Demon Wedges, you need to understand how they work and carefully choose your equipment. You can find and manage them in the Armoury screen. Just select the character or weapon you want to modify, then click the Demon Wedge button in the bottom-right corner to open the wedge menu.

You can easily add wedges by dragging and dropping them into the open slots. Or, if you prefer, use the Quick Equip feature, which will automatically choose the best wedges for your character or weapon based on their stats. Once a wedge is equipped, you’ll instantly get its benefits.

Keep an eye on your Tolerance Limit, which determines how many wedges you can equip. Your characters and weapons begin with a small limit, but it increases as you level up and improve them. Improving your units – called Ascension – also unlocks more slots, letting you equip up to six wedges per unit.

Okay, so as I’ve gotten further into the game, I’ve realized Demon Wedges are super important. Once your characters start hitting a wall with stat increases, a good wedge setup can really keep your damage up. It makes a huge difference in boss fights, letting me survive longer, and it speeds up those daily commissions a ton. Basically, they’re a lifesaver when things get tough!
