Duchess Meghan shares that she is in a stage of her life where she is investing in herself

As a dedicated fan who has followed the Sussexes’ journey from the beginning, it is truly heartening to see Duchess Meghan investing in herself and others at this stage of her life. Her decision to align with brands that share her values not only reflects her personal growth but also serves as a powerful testament to the transformative power of investment – both financial and emotional.

After relinquishing their senior royal roles, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have stayed quite active. They’ve been dedicating time to their philanthropic organizations and positions, all while nurturing their young family. To top it off, they’ve embarked on numerous journeys aimed at promoting their charitable endeavors.

In a recent interview with The New York Times, Duchess Meghan provides further glimpses into her current lifestyle. She particularly reveals that this phase of her existence involves dedicating time and resources towards personal growth.

Instead of investing in herself, it appears that the Duchess of Sussex is choosing to invest in others, as a means of supporting what she strongly believes in.

As reported by People Magazine, during her interview, the duchess mentioned that she’s putting money into companies that align with her personal values and beliefs.

Investing in them has helped me line up for this chapter where I’m investing in myself.

It seems that the duchess is presently putting money into a range of five to ten different companies right now, one of which is Cesta Collective. This brand creates hand-woven bags in Rwanda, where local women artisans assist in the process. The final touches are added in Italy before they become available for purchase.

It seems like the first occasion Duchess Meghan used a Cesta Collective woven handbag was around 2023, specifically at a dinner with friends. Notably, this outing by the duchess turned out to be the most profitable day for the brand up until that point, as reported by its founders.

Without a doubt, Duchess Meghan demonstrates a keen sense of fashion awareness, often making significant impacts on brands and designers through her choices. It’s noteworthy that she also invests in some of these same companies, which adds an iconic touch to her style.

There is no denying that Duchess Meghan can be a very savvy businesswoman. And having her invest in select brands as a way to help propel them to a new audience and level of success is truly empowering. It seems as if the duchess is doing her part to help brands with a mission that aligns with her own, and that is something we can appreciate.
