Dua Lipa Rocks Melbourne with Unforgettable AC/DC Cover
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’m delighted to share that I’ve just embarked on my Australian tour with a bang, honouring a legendary Aussie musical group in the process.
The One Kiss hitmaker, 29, kicked off her five night stay at Melbourne‘s Rod Laver Arena on Monday.
As a bonus for her Aussie fans, Dua ripped into a rendition of the AC/DC classic Highway To Hell.
Instagram account LipaFans shared a clip of the hitmaker performing the tune to a packed arena.
With a soulful twist that was different from Bon Scott’s raw and casual style, Dua’s cover brought the audience to their feet in amazement.
In a lacy black bodysuit and fiery red pants, Dua shone as she confidently sang the iconic song.
She amplified the cool attitude of rock and roll by wearing a big, white feather boa as she confidently moved across the stage.
The song choice definitely resonated with fans, with one commenting, ‘Dua doing an ACDC song? I love her even more now’.
Dua Lipa’s Australian tour will carry on with an additional four shows at Rod Laver Arena from March 19th to 23rd.
She will then hit Sydney for three shows at Qudos Bank Arena before flying to Auckland for two shows at Spark Arena.
Many fans were taken aback and felt cold when they saw the expensive ticket prices following the announcement of the tour and additional shows.)
One person shared a screenshot to X which showed their tickets costing $349.90, writing: ‘Nawt Dua Lipa/Ticketek turning on premium pricing for her Aus shows [sic].’
One person commented, “What makes Dua’s ticket prices so outrageous? I can’t believe it costs $460 per ticket! That’s just unacceptable.
Dynamic pricing has long attracted the ire of concertgoers as ticketing platforms across the world continue to roll out the system on their websites.

The strategy sees tickets sellers adjust the cost of tickets based on demand rather than setting a fixed price, leading to exorbitant ticket prices.
It comes after Dua and her rumoured fiancé Callum Turner stepped out after enjoying a romantic dinner at Dorian restaurant in London’s Notting Hill.
The smitten couple tried to stay unnoticed while quickly leaving the renowned restaurant, having enjoyed their shared dinner together.
It is thought the happy couple reportedly got engaged over Christmas.
In January, 2024, romance speculations started swirling around Dua and Callum as they were spotted together at a post-Masters Of The Air event held in London.
Prior to making her relationship public, the Dance the Night songstress revealed during promotion for her album Radical Optimism that she had to find her ‘confidence’ again after previous relationships had gone awry.
To Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, she shared that regarding relationships, she had to reach this particular point in her life to discover truly what she required.
‘You have to be in the act of forgiveness and growing and learning, and being okay with the past in order to move on with what’s to come next.

‘So it’s, for me, Happy for You is a beautiful, happy song, because it’s so reflective of my journey,’ she continued.
‘I think with every relationship, with every experience you learn about yourself, you learn about things that are hurtful to you, what you expect, what you should be ready to give as well.
‘I think, again, it goes back to that exchange of vulnerability.
In the past, I’ve experienced some relationships that were deeply painful, particularly at the start. These relationships left me feeling unwanted and inadequate, causing a significant loss of self-confidence. However, I’ve managed to rebuild my confidence since then.
Finding out what you value most in a relationship is crucial, in my opinion. It’s not just about finding the perfect partner, but rather establishing a partnership that fits your lifestyle and values.
‘You find that in friendships and in love relationships as well, of your non-negotiables.’
