Dua Lipa announces Australian tour in 2025 – but fans are left furious as popstar snubs two major cities

Dua Lipa has upset some of her Australian fans by leaving out two significant Australian cities from her 2025 Radical Optimism World Tour itinerary.
On a recent announcement, it’s been confirmed that the popular singer, who is 29 years old, plans to give concerts in both Melbourne and Sydney, which will take place on a future Friday.
Many enthusiasts rushed to comment on the announcement, asking why a three-time Grammy Award winner decided not to include Brisbane and Perth in their tour schedule, instead scheduling just two Australian shows.
One individual posted, ‘Perth seems absent from the Australian map,’ while another expressed, ‘Brisbane often feels overlooked.’
A third added: ‘Cause F Perth am I right?’
As a devoted fan of Queensland, I couldn’t help but feel a strong sense of disappointment when my favorite international stars chose to overlook our city during their tours Down Under. After all, Brisbane is a regular stopover for these stars, and it holds a special place in the hearts of many fans like me.

Starting March 20, 2025, Dua’s Global Tour of Radical Optimism sets off in Melbourne at the Rod Laver Arena. After that, she’ll be at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on March 26.
Among the stops on her expansive world tour, they represent the sole Australian dates. Following this, she departs for New Zealand performances starting on April 2nd, followed by global travel thereafter.

Ticket presales for American Express and Dua will open on Wednesday, September 18 at 11am and Thursday, September 19 at 12 pm respectively.
Pre-sale for Live Nation tickets begins on Thursday, September 19 at 2 PM, ahead of public ticket sales starting on Friday, September 20 at 1 PM.
Dua will be showcasing her newest album “Radical Optimism” during her forthcoming global tour, where she’ll give performances across Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States as well.
The popular music sensation is thriving and advancing even more, as her concert tour builds upon her successful debut as a headliner at the Pyramid Stage during the 2024 Glastonbury Festival in June.
