Dropout Kings Mourn Loss of Lead Singer Adam Ramey at 32
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m deeply saddened to share the news that I, along with countless others, have lost someone close to our musical community. Adam Ramey, the charismatic lead vocalist and visionary behind the innovative rap-metal band Dropout Kings, passed away at just 32 years old. His untimely departure leaves a void in the world of music that will be difficult to fill.
His death was confirmed by the band on Monday, though no cause was disclosed.
On social media, the collective paid an emotional homage, acknowledging Ramey’s influence on their music and personal experiences.
Life often takes unexpected turns, a truth hard to foresee. The thrilling journey of pursuing dreams alongside your siblings and companions is an experience seldom shared… It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Adam Ramey.
In 2016, Ramey helped establish Dropout Kings, and he was instrumental in the group’s progression throughout his professional journey.
He was featured on both of the band’s full-length albums: 2018’s AudioDope and 2023’s Riot Music.

‘Through his deep-seated enthusiasm, boundless vigor, and heartfelt affection for music, Adam molded Dropout Kings and influenced countless others. His spirited charm and vitality will not only continue to inspire us, but will drive us forward to strive for greatness in the future.’
In my heartfelt words, I conclude our tribute by saying thank you, Chip, for everything. May the strength and spirit of Adam live on, we’ll forever cherish his memory, family.
