Drew Barrymore’s ex-husband Will Kopelman is a dad again a decade after their shock divorce

Will Kopelman, who was previously married to Drew Barrymore, recently had a baby boy named Hugh Radcliffe. The arrival of his fourth child comes almost ten years after his divorce from Barrymore.

The couple welcomed a baby boy, weighing 7 pounds and 12 ounces. The 47-year-old father and his wife, Alexandra Michler, shared the happy news on Instagram, expressing their gratitude for their ‘little blessing’ and wishing everyone a healthy and happy 2026.

The 38-year-old Vogue employee happily showed off their new baby alongside their two-year-old son, John Keats.

The cherubic toddler even held his baby sister for a sweet snap.

The only photo of Hughie with his eyes open was taken while he was being held by Kopelman and Barrymore’s daughter, Frankie, who is eleven years old.

The founder of Kopelman Contemporary rested his forehead against his thirteen-year-old daughter, Olive, while she held her baby brother. Olive is the daughter of a former child star who is now fifty years old.

After ending their four-year marriage in 2016, Kopelman and Barrymore have stayed friendly and often enjoy spending time together as a family, including with their daughters and what they describe as a loving stepmother.

Even as recently as last year, the Emmy-winning talk show host spoke openly about how painful her breakup with her college ex-boyfriend had been.

Drew Barrymore shared with AARP The Magazine that she didn’t achieve her dream of having a stable family, and found going through a divorce even more painful than her difficult childhood.

I was completely devastated. I felt like I was falling apart, especially because I had young children and felt lost about my future and career. My family life was crumbling, and I didn’t have the strength to cope.

I felt like I’d grown up quickly, but then I lost track of how I was supposed to feel. I just knew I was overwhelmed with sadness and pain, and I let myself feel that for a while. Thankfully, I eventually managed to move past it.

The granddaughter of John Barrymore, whose father, John Drew Barrymore, left her mother before she was born, says this experience taught her early on that nothing in life is certain.

Last March, Drew Barrymore revealed on her talk show that someone she met on the Raya dating app stopped responding to her messages after they had gone on a dinner date.

‘It just happens. I don’t know why,’ the Sherman Oaks native admitted.

I honestly have no idea why someone would do that. It’s not something I would ever consider, and I can’t understand the motivation. It’s like starting something – if you begin, shouldn’t you finish it?

Drew Barrymore has gone through two short-lived marriages. She divorced comedian Tom Green in 2002 after only a year and a half together, and previously divorced British bar owner Jeremy Thomas in 1995 after just two months.

Drew Barrymore, once known for her rebellious lifestyle, now leads and produces her talk show, The Drew Barrymore Show. It’s currently the second most popular syndicated talk show, trailing only LIVE! with Kelly and Mark in viewership among key audiences.

As if acting wasn’t enough, I’m also having a blast producing and hosting the reboot of ‘Hollywood Squares’ over on CBS! We’re back for a second season this Wednesday, and honestly, it’s a total joy being in the center square with such a fun group of people. It keeps me on my toes, and I love bringing a little bit of classic game show fun to viewers!

The cheerful host first became famous as a child actor, appearing in popular films such as E.T., Firestarter, and Irreconcilable Differences.
