Dream League Soccer 2026, from the makers of the popular First Touch Games, continues the tradition of a much-loved mobile football series. The game combines exciting, quick gameplay with the ability to create and manage your own team, guiding them through the ranks to achieve success.
DLS 2026 builds on the series with improved features and gameplay, solidifying its position as one of the best mobile football games. This guide will walk you through the Career Mode, covering the key elements and offering helpful advice to help you create and grow a winning club.
Getting started with the Career Mode in DLS 2026
Career Mode is where you’ll truly experience everything the game has to offer. It’s the best way to learn how the game works, allowing you to practice, build a team from the ground up, and improve your players over time.
If you’re just starting out, the best thing to do is play games regularly. The more you play, the more the game will naturally teach you about things like player transfers, training your team, improving your stadium, and managing your resources.
Customizing your club
I love that you can really make your club your own in this game! You can change things like your team’s kit, logo, player numbers, boot color, and even sock color in the My Club customization section. Just a heads-up though, it costs Gems to edit things, so I usually focus on getting the logo and team name just right!
Beginning your Club Journey
Your Club’s ranking determines your path through the League, and that’s where you’ll spend most of your time improving. There are also two cup competitions you can enter at any time. Making progress is important, as your results will earn you rewards, which you can find in the Challenges section under the Career menu.
Building your Team in Dream League Soccer 2026
Creating a strong team in Dream League Soccer 2026 takes time. You’ll start with players who aren’t very skilled, and that’s normal. The first matches are relatively simple, so if you understand the game’s basics, you should be able to win them.
Of course, building a strong team means signing good players and setting up effective formations. Improving your squad is key, and since you only get one really good player to start with, you’ll need to develop or acquire better players to compete.
Live Transfer
The Live Transfer Market is where you use Coins to sign new players. The available players change after each match you play, giving you more chances to find better ones. As your team gets stronger and has better chemistry, you’ll see higher-rated players appear more often.
Top-tier players aren’t often available through regular transfers and usually only appear during special events. Rather than hoping for a lucky draw, it’s better to consistently upgrade your team over time.
Scouts and Agents
You can use Coins to hire Scouts, who help you get players for lower prices. They’re especially helpful when you’re starting out, allowing you to build a strong team without spending too much. Scouts are a good choice for new players and come in three levels of quality: Common, Rare, and Legendary.
Unlike Scouts, Agents are purchased with Gems and search for top-tier or Legendary players worldwide. Though they can be very helpful, Agents can be costly and a bit of a gamble when you’re just starting out, as Gems are scarce and you still need Coins to complete the signing.
Squad Management in Dream League Soccer 2026
In the My Team area, you can view details about your formations, physios, and coaches.
Players
When you go to the My Team area, you’ll be able to see your players clearly. While choosing a formation is important, make sure your players are well-suited to that formation. The game offers several different formations, and you can even unlock variations of those formations as you play.
When you click on a player, you’ll see their stats. These stats are based on eight different areas, and it’s helpful to consider which position best suits their strengths. You can also manage their roles on the team from this screen, like designating them as captain or setting them up for free kicks and penalties.
Coaches
Coaches are essential for long-term player development. They come in different specialties – Technical, Fitness, Goalkeeping, and Special – each focusing on improving specific player attributes. These coaches are also categorized by rarity, falling into three types: Common, Rare, and Legendary.
Common coaches typically give a small boost to one random stat, while Rare coaches offer larger improvements. Legendary coaches are the best, providing the biggest stat upgrades and a better chance of achieving a Breakthrough.
Physios
You can get new coaches in a couple of ways: by spending Gems or by letting go of players from your team. Keep in mind that releasing a top-tier (Legendary) player doesn’t automatically mean you’ll get a top-tier coach, so think carefully before releasing anyone.
When players compete often, their stamina is crucial. That’s where team physios come in – they help players regain energy and deal with injuries, especially with busy schedules. Physios are as important as coaches.
Physios come in three levels: Common, Rare, and Legendary. Common Physios provide a small energy boost, while Rare Physios offer a greater recovery. Legendary Physios completely restore energy and heal all injuries. Unlike Coaches who require a contract, Physios are purchased directly with Coins, making them simple to acquire and use throughout your Career Mode.

Stadium and Facilities
Even the best team can’t consistently improve their ranking without also investing in their club’s facilities. Improving those facilities is just as important as upgrading your players, and it’s a really enjoyable part of the game.
The size of your stadium directly impacts how many bonus Coins you earn after each home game. A bigger stadium leads to better rewards after matches, giving you a consistent income to pay for players, medical staff, and training. Investing in stadium upgrades early in your Career Mode can be very beneficial in the long run.
Beyond capacity, each facility upgrade unlocks some gameplay advantages:
- Medical Centre: Reduces the chance of player injuries and lowers recovery costs.
- Accommodation Centre: Expands your squad size, allowing better rotation and depth as you start competing in league and cup matches.
- Training Centre: Unlocks new formations with each level, with form boost as well.
- Commercial Centre: Increases post-match coin rewards.
- Recruitment Centre: Provides discounts on Scouts and Agents.
Completing Challenges
In Dream League Soccer 2026, Daily Challenges are key to making progress in the game. Finishing these challenges earns you Coins and Gems. They’re generally easy to complete – often just winning matches in Career or Live modes – and usually take less than an hour.
