Dream League Soccer 2025 Guide: Tips to progress across Divisions quickly
As a seasoned Dream League Soccer player with countless hours under my belt, I must say that the latest edition, DLS 2025, has truly upped the ante in terms of challenge and excitement. Climbing divisions is no longer a walk in the park, but rather a grueling marathon that demands strategy, patience, and a little bit of luck.
For quite a while now, the most recent installment of the Dream League Soccer franchise has been available in the gaming world. This new edition has garnered numerous accolades due to its innovative features. Interestingly, it’s also more demanding than its predecessors; moving up the divisions necessitates a considerable amount of effort. In this Dream League Soccer 2025 guide, we will be sharing tips based on our month-long gaming experience that can help players advance through the divisions swiftly.
How to progress across Divisions quickly in Dream League Soccer 2025
Dream League Soccer 2025 begins by providing players with teams whose Overall Ratings (OVR) typically range from the 50s to the 60s, making victories hard to come by. Nevertheless, it’s important to note that you don’t have to win every game in your Division to advance. In this article, we will explore the strategies you should employ to achieve a Division Promotion.
1. Adhere to all the Division Objectives
To secure a Division Promotion in Career Mode, it’s crucial that you complete all goals set for your current division. It’s essential to achieve these objectives within approximately 15 games of the Division, or else you’ll be required to replay that Division. You can access these objectives in the My Club section of the Career Mode menu. Make sure to not only meet the specified position but also reach the required goal count as well.
Don’t worry about the position they want you to reach; you don’t need to win every single game. In a Division with 15 matches, even if you secure victories in just 10 games, you’ll still emerge as the leader. The real challenge lies in the number of goals. Initially, your team may only have less experienced strikers who might miss some open chances now and then.
Therefore, we recommend choosing a “Powerful Forward” at the start when prompted to select a Legendary Player as captain. In lower divisions, focus on strengthening your attack since opponents usually field low-rated players. Your defense should handle them easily. A powerful striker can help you score multiple goals – even up to 5 or 6 in a single game – which will significantly increase your chances of promotion.
2. Max out your Medical Centre
In addition to focusing on the advertisements within your stadium, it’s crucial to optimize your Medical Centre as well. To ensure victory and climb through the divisions, fielding your strongest starting 11 is essential, particularly during the Global Challenge Cup Events, where success is imperative.
At first, you may not have many strong players on your team, which could lead to some losses and potentially hinder your chances for promotion in the Division. Boosting the number of medical staff at your stadium significantly lowers the chance of your starting 11 getting injured.
To optimize your progress in the game, it’s advisable to utilize the gems you acquire from Live Events and fulfilling Division tasks primarily for upgrading your Medical Centre Perks and Stadium Commercials. Avoid using gems on non-essential items. Neglecting to upgrade your stadium facilities may hinder any potential promotions.
3. Release your unwanted players for Fitness Coaches
Fitness is what matters ultimately in the Dream League Soccer Series. There is no use keeping unwanted players who won’t make it to your Dream 11. Hence we would ask you to release them for fitness coaches. This would have 2x advantages. Firstly, if your main player is injured, a Fitness coach would help him heal from his injury so that your chances of a Division promotion are not squandered.
Additionally, maintaining dynamic activity within the market is crucial, as this increases the likelihood of attracting top-tier talent to your roster. Without such players, it may be manageable in lower leagues, but as you advance, having a strong team becomes increasingly vital for further progression.
4. Hire Common Scouts
It may seem unusual given they only have a 5% chance of discovering exceptional players, but that’s the essence of resource management. Regular scouts can be employed for 75 in-game coins, while exceptional scouts, who are more likely to recruit legendary players, can be acquired for 500 coins.
If you acquire a legendary player after employing six exceptional talent seekers, known as Legendary Scouts, and your friend manages to get the same legendary player with twelve common scouts, you can understand that it takes 900 coins to hire 12 common scouts, whereas 6 legendary scouts cost a total of 3000 coins.
Common scouts are kind of handy this way. To progress up the Divisions you need Legendary Players on your side, hence we suggest you use your coins wisely and go for common scouts. Remember, Legendary players can also appear in the Window, either individually, or as Top Picks. Save your coins, so that you can spend on them.
Adopt these suggestions, and you’ll swiftly and effortlessly climb through the divisions without any trouble. Whenever you need help advancing between divisions, remember to consult our handy guide for Dream League Soccer 2025.
