Dream League Soccer 2025 Guide: Tips to Earn Dream Points Quickly
As a seasoned gamer and a devoted Dream League Soccer enthusiast, I must say that the latest update has truly taken my gaming experience to another level. The Prize Ladder system, with its tantalizing promise of the 98′ World Cup Classic players, is nothing short of exhilarating.
The update for the Dream League Soccer 2025 season was officially released in December 2024, as announced by its developer, First Touch Games. Notable changes in this update include the addition of Classic Players, which can be unlocked through a new Prize Ladder system. This system requires players to accumulate Dream Points (DP) to gain access to these players. In this guide for Dream League Soccer 2025, we’ll explain what DP points are, their benefits, and how you can earn them.
What are DP Points in Dream League Soccer 2025
In addition to the existing monetary system of Coins and Gems, a fresh type of currency called Dream Points (DP Points) has been added in DLS 2025. Essentially, these points function as an internal game money that players must consistently earn to progress through the brand-new prize raffle system.
Over time, by earning Dream Points, you’ll progress up the Prize Rung, ultimately winning Gems, Coins, and prizes with four other players who played in the 1998 World Cup. Each loop on the Prize Rung lasts 90 days, and new players will join at the end of each cycle. This new form of currency plays a significant role in this game by offering exciting rewards.
Dream Points can be earned by simply playing the different game modes with each game mode offering a said number of Dream Points. While your Dream Point earnings can be given a boost, there is no shortcut to earning this new currency, and can be only earned by grinding. In the next section, we are going to break down which game modes earn you how many Dream Points exactly and some other tips to stack up Dream Points quickly from our experience of laying the game.
How to earn Dream Points (DP) in Dream League Soccer 2025
To clarify, as mentioned earlier, Dream Points can only be obtained by consistently playing and progressing through the different game modes: Career Mode, Dream League Live, and Dream Draft. It’s essential to note that these points cannot be bought from the in-game Store. Given this information, which of these three modes should you focus on more if your goal is to amass Dream Points faster?
In this part, we’ll examine the ideal situation where you come out on top. This means a victory for you, and the highest possible number of DP points that can be accumulated in each game type: Career mode, Dream League Live, and Dream Draft.
1. Grind Career Mode matches daily
In the “Career Mode,” you engage in competitive matches against top-tier teams from various leagues. Since your opponents are artificially intelligent (AI), they are referred to as the CPU. As a novice player, this mode can provide an accessible entry point into the game. The primary goal is to accumulate Dream Points.
In our given scenario, let’s discuss the highest number of Dream Points you could potentially gain from a single meeting within the Career mode. If luck is on your side and you manage to win the game, here’s how the Dream Points distribution would look like upon finishing the match:
- For Win: 75 Dream Points
- For each goal scored: 10 Dream Points per Goal up to 5 Goals
- For maintaining Clean Sheet: 15 Dream Points
In a Career mode match, if you net more than 5 goals and keep a shutout, the highest Dream Points you can garner per game is 140. It’s quite possible to accomplish this feat during the initial stages, as you’ll often find yourself facing weaker opponents in lower divisions.
2. Focus on playing Dream League Live Games
In Dream League Live games, you’ll face off against other players online. This could make it a tricky part for beginners to master, but remember, the rewards are greater too!
Assuming again that you win the game. Below is the DP points break-down:
- For Win: 120 Dream Points
- For each goal scored: 10 Dream Points per goal up to 5 Goals
- For maintaining Clean Sheet: 15 Dream Points
In an optimal situation, if you net 5 or more goals during a match in the Dream League Live, which is slightly harder than scoring 5 in a career mode game, and keep a shutout, you could potentially gain up to 185 Dream Points.
3. Draft a side of 75+ Rated Players in Dream Draft
The Dream Draft segment empowers you to assemble a full team of 18 top-tier players, each rated 75 or higher, including a standout Star Player. Once your squad is formed, you’ll face off against other equally talented teams in a tournament-style format, complete with enticing rewards such as Gems for reaching the semi-finals and finals.
In Dream League Live matches, if you can keep a record of your clan’s performance and score at least 5 goals, you could potentially earn up to 185 Dream Points. This is relatively easier because you’ll be competing against the computer. Among the three game modes we’ve talked about, it seems that Dream Draft offers more rewards. So, remember to focus on this aspect.
4. Keep a tap on the the Weekly Challenges
To find the Challenges menu, simply tap on the “Challenges” section located at the bottom of your game’s main screen. Each day and week, you will encounter a list of achievable tasks. In addition to other perks, completing the Weekly Challenges will also earn you Dream Points.
- To know the weekly objectives set for a given week, you must switch over to the Weekly tab under the Challenges menu.
- Four pretty straightforward objectives are set each week like playing 40 Career mode matches, scoring 40 goals with a forward-line player, etc.
- Each objective rewards you with 80 Dream Points (DP) upon completion which means a total of 320 Dream Points can be earned each week by completing all the objectives under this section.
If you find that the Dream League Live and Dream Draft earn more Dream Points appealing, remember not to completely overlook matches in the Career mode. The Weekly Challenges frequently require you to play a specific number of games within the Career mode.
By completing this action, you’ll avoid losing the extra 80 Dream Points for that goal and climb the ranks in Career Mode at the same time. This approach isn’t a bad one considering Career mode challenges also grant a good amount of Dream Points.
5. Activate Dream Point boosts whenever available to speed up progression
Based on its title, Dream Point increases your earnings from Dream Points in every game mode when you activate it. The Dream Point Boost has three different levels:
- Common Boost: Increases your Dream Points earnings by 50% upon activating. This means, that upon activating a common boost, you can earn a maximum of 210 Dream Points in Career mode games and a maximum of 278 Dream Points from Dream League Live and Dream Draft in the best-case scenario.
- Rare Boost: Increases your Dream Points earnings by 75% upon activating. This means, that upon activating a common boost, you can earn a maximum of 245 Dream Points in Career mode games and a maximum of 324 Dream Points from Dream League Live and Dream Draft in the best-case scenario.
- Legendary Boost: Increases your Dream Points earnings by 150% upon activating. This means, that upon activating a common boost, you can earn a maximum of 350 Dream Points in Career mode games and a maximum of 463 Dream Points from Dream League Live and Dream Draft in the best-case scenario.
How to activate Dream Poin Boosts in Dream League Soccer 2025
As a gamer, I make it a point to regularly check out the Challenges section and work towards completing the Season Pass objectives, as these are great ways to earn Dream Point boosts. These boosts can significantly help in my gameplay progress, so I always aim to achieve all the set objectives to redeem these freebies. To activate a Dream Point Boost, simply ensure you’ve completed the required tasks and then enjoy the benefits it brings to your gaming experience!
- Visit the Prize ladder section.
- At the left-hand side of the Prize ladder pop-up menu, you will see a button labeled ‘Boost your DP‘. Tap on that to see if you have any DP Boosts available to be activated.
- The Boost button would be enabled below each category of Dream Point boost if you own them. Tap on that to activate the boost.
- Additionally, the game might also suggest you use Dream Point boosts before the start of a particular match if you own these boosts.
Additionally, you have the option to exchange a surprise Dream Point bonus by investing 100 Gems in the prize raffle section. However, it’s advisable not to use your Gems for this reason since Dream Point bonuses (apart from Legendary Boosts) are frequently given away as rewards. To optimize your Dream Points earnings, remember to activate them whenever they become available.
Final Thoughts
Introducing the Prize Ladder system is nothing short of exhilarating! Plus, the opportunity to recruit players from the 98′ World Cup Classic by climbing this ladder adds to the excitement. Kudos to First Touch Games for ensuring that everyone has an equal chance at earning Dream Points. To unlock these Classic Players and collect Dream Points, you’ll need to put in some effort.
In this game, it’s impossible to buy Dream Points from the store. Doing so would maintain fan enthusiasm since not everyone could instantly acquire all the Classic Players by buying Dream Points with real money.
