Drake’s Tour in Jeopardy: Fans Left Fuming After Long Waits at Brisbane Concert!
There are rumors swirling about the possible cancellation of Drake’s Australian tour, as whispers persist that he might end his performances for the rest of his scheduled shows in the country.
On March 4, the renowned artist from Canada will be back at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, and then on March 7, they’ll perform at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney.
The hitmaker is then set to play gigs in New Zealand, in Auckland on March 15 and 16.
On Tuesday, it was speculated by The Herald Sun that Drake’s performance at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Tuesday evening might mark his final show.
It’s been rumored that Drake is making preparations to transport his stage gear to Europe this week.
However, Live Nation, Drake’s tour promoter, have denied any imminent cancellations are planned.
There are reports suggesting that the concert might be cancelled due to poor ticket sales, as the artist has not yet managed to fill both of his scheduled shows in Brisbane.
Following an extended wait, supporters of the rapper found themselves frustrated as they stood in line outside the Brisbane Entertainment Centre for hours on end.
Many attendees at Monday’s concert in Queensland reported long wait times, with some finding themselves waiting in lines numbering in the thousands.
Posts made to social media showed massive crowds backed up outside, unable to enter.
A Facebook post, posted approximately at 8 pm, mentioned that a multitude of enthusiasts were yet to gain entry into the venue and had been queuing for about two hours.
Initially scheduled to open at 5:30 PM, the doors eventually started allowing entry at 7 PM, as people slowly gathered. By 8 PM, some attendees were still waiting outside to get in.
Drake concert situation in Brisbane! The gates were supposed to open at 5:30 PM, but it’s now 7:16 PM and people are getting restless outside the venue.
Another person wrote on social media: ‘Drake let us in, we’re dying out here.’

Concert goers complained that they did not have access to toilets or food while waiting.
One user posted on Facebook, “I really have to use the restroom,” prompting others to question if facilities were available nearby.
Some spectators found on-site restrooms, but one partygoer remarked, ‘There are hundreds waiting in line; it’s ridiculous.’
At 8.30 pm, some people asserted that no one from their section of the queue had managed to get into the venue by then.
‘No one at our gate has gone in’ wrote one fan as it approached 9pm.
It’s been said that some fans were informed that Drake was conducting a soundcheck, which meant they couldn’t enter at that time. Yet, there hasn’t been an official announcement about this matter.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted the Brisbane Entertainment Centre for comment.
Previously in the day, well-known OnlyFans personality, Blue Eyed Kayla Jade, seemed to suggest on a TikTok post that she would be joining Drake and some companions for dinner and drinks prior to his concert in Brisbane.

The lively social media personalities gave a sneak peek of their nighttime attire on an Instagram update before dinner, yet they didn’t reveal any specifics about it.
Drake rounded out the Sydney leg of his run on Thursday before heading to Brisbane for three shows.
He will then return to Sydney on March 7 for the final show at Qudos Bank Arena.
Currently, the Canadian rap artist is performing in various cities across Australia, having already completed four concerts in Melbourne.
Last week, he grabbed attention when video clips spread online showing a drone flying near the balcony of his high-end apartment at Crown Sydney.
Drake was attempting to enjoy some downtime when he received an unwelcome visitor.
Instagram account RapMusic posted a video, apparently captured by a drone, showcasing a firsthand perspective.

Regrettably, Drake missed his mark, as his slide didn’t connect with the drone; yet, it seemed like the preemptive shot had the intended consequence.
The drone then flew up from the balcony and up into a summery Sydney sky.
Yet, sharp-eyed spectators swiftly questioned the authenticity of the video, suggesting that it might have been orchestrated, as they spotted the drone operator in the mirror-like surface of the glass door.
The article sparked a lot of discussion among readers, as some thought it might be an advertisement for the digital currency casino Stake, where Drake has a partnership.
One follower noted that it appears this is an advertisement for a betting company, commenting on the acting as poor. In response, another follower humorously mentioned that the background of the scene even features the betting company’s website.
‘The video appears to be a promotional piece for Stake, where it’s evident that a drone operator is hidden in the background. Drake delivers quite the dramatic performance, earning him potential Oscar recognition for his acting skills.’
Another person joked: ‘I just know he let out a soft anime grunt when he threw it.’
