Summary
- Drake is the first artist to exceed 120 billion streams on Spotify
- He holds the top spot, ahead of Taylor Swift (110 billion) and Bad Bunny (100 billion)
- His most-streamed song is “One Dance” with over 3.7 billion streams
As a huge Drake fan, I’m not surprised he’s officially the most-streamed artist on Spotify! It’s incredible to think he’s broken 120 billion streams – that’s a first for any artist, considering all his songs *and* the times he’s featured on other people’s tracks. It just goes to show how popular he still is, even after everything that happened with the Kendrick Lamar feud last year. He really continues to dominate!
Drake has achieved an incredible level of streaming success. To give you an idea of just how dominant he is, Taylor Swift, the next most-streamed artist, has over 10 billion fewer streams at just over 110 billion. Bad Bunny is the only other artist to surpass 100 billion streams. After him, The Weeknd has 84.5 billion, Justin Bieber has 64.2 billion, and Ed Sheeran has 59.6 billion.
Drake’s most popular songs, based on streaming numbers, are led by “One Dance” with over 3.7 billion plays. “God’s Plan” comes in second with 2.8 billion, followed by “Passionfruit” at 1.9 billion. “Work” and “Hotline Bling” are tied, each having been streamed around 1.5 billion times.
