As a dedicated Drake fan with over two decades of unwavering loyalty, I can hardly contain my excitement! The mere hint of a Down Under tour has sent me into a whirlwind of anticipation. You see, I’ve been following his career since the days of So Far Gone, and to finally have him grace our shores again feels like a dream come true.

On Tuesday, Drake sparked excitement among his Australian followers by subtly suggesting an upcoming tour in the region, a news that left them thrilled.

38-year-old Canadian rapper shared an Instagram post featuring him striking a pose in front of Sydney Opera House, which he visited during his tour of Australia back in 2017.

He labeled the picture with, “Seven years have passed,” accompanied by various winking eyes emojis, hinting at a possible future music tour.

The live music platform Whatslively, which has a reputation for accurately predicting tour announcements, hinted that Drake is likely to unveil an Australian tour in the very near future.

‘We’re predicting these shows will take place early to mid 2025,’ the website states.

104.7 Triple M Breakfast Show’s hosts Roo, Ditts & Loz had previously speculated this year that Drake might visit Adelaide in the current month.

The artist known for “Hotline Bling” was whispered to be visiting South Africa during the same period as the Vailo Adelaide 500 supercar race, happening from November 14-17.

‘The hotel rooms are booked… he has more rooms than a normal artist,’ said Mark ‘Roo’ Ricciuto.

He mentioned that it’s unclear whether he will be participating in the Vailo event, but what is certain is that he is planning to visit Adelaide around the same period, making his trip and the event potentially overlap.

As an overly enthusiastic fan, I can confidently say that based on the numerous hotel rooms that have been reserved, it feels like the event is definitely going to take place!

As a diehard fan, I couldn’t help but tune in to the radio show, hoping for a glimpse into Drake’s world. Alas, the hosts didn’t reveal the exact count of Drake’s entourage, but my ears perked up when co-host Laura ‘Loz’ O’Callaghan hinted that it was quite substantial, leaving me even more intrigued!

‘He’s got a lot of people coming. If those numbers are accurate, I’m very concerned,’ she said.

Last month, towards the end, Drake marked his 38th birthday by first having dinner with friends and relatives in Houston at a restaurant. Later that night, he visited a strip club to continue the celebration.

He showed up at the Area 29 gentlemen’s club, accompanied by his OVO group, each of them holding wads of cash.

At the nightclub, the disc jockey shared with the media outlet that Drake had given a sneak peek of an unheard track, allegedly named “Plot Twist.

At the club, it’s said that Drake was seen rhythmically reciting his verses, which appeared to touch upon his well-known disagreement with Kendrick Lamar, a feud that made headlines.
