Dragon Quest Creator Says Lend the New Game to Your Kids
As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I can confidently say that the Dragon Quest series has been a constant companion throughout my journey. The latest remake, Dragon Quest III HD-2D, is no exception. With two million copies sold worldwide, it’s clear that this game has captured the hearts of many.
Yuji Horii, the mastermind behind “Dragon Quest”, encourages everyone to pass on the recently remade version of “Dragon Quest III” to kids once they’ve finished playing it themselves.
The official Dragon Quest account announced that over 2 million units of the HD-2D remake of Dragon Quest 3 have been distributed globally.
A heartfelt thank you to all the courageous comrades who joined us on our journey so far, and to those about to set sail on their own adventure, may your voyage be filled with success and adventure!
Horii subsequently cited this statement and expressed, “It appears that a vast number of individuals are enjoying it, and I couldn’t be more content. The game has been made simpler to play, so if you’ve finished it already, consider sharing the software with those who have never played Dragon Quest or with young children, and guide them on how to play.
It’s a kind thought, and indeed, Square Enix has been making efforts lately to make sure young gamers can easily play their classic titles. They’ve been offering updated versions, ranging from remasters to complete overhauls.

It seems like you’re playing this game with so many people, but I can’t help feeling happy about it. Since the game has become quite easy to play, those who have already cleared it could consider lending their copy and explaining how to play to newcomers or small children who haven’t experienced Dragon Quest yet.
