Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. is commemorating a decade of their acclaimed action-puzzle game, DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE, by launching a unique two-part campaign to mark the occasion. Unlike previous anniversaries, this one brings six highlighted characters into the mix to amplify the festivities. DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE 10th Anniversary Campaign Overview

The game titled “DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE” is situated within the DRAGON BALL universe, showcasing stunning 2D artwork and animations. In this turbulent timeline, legendary characters from DBZ to DBS, such as Super Saiyan God SS Goku, Vegeta, Freeza, Jiren, and others engage in awe-inspiring battles reminiscent of anime, all while maintaining the original series’ style.

Ever since it debuted on January 30, 2015, this game has been delighting fans with beloved characters, their powerful special moves, thrilling Dokan Events, World Tournaments, and more over the past ten years. As it marks its 10th Anniversary, it’s introducing six highlighted characters, a revamped user interface, a refined Dokkan mode, among other enhancements.

On this special day, they joined forces with professional NBA basketball player De’Aaron Fox, who features prominently in a unique advertisement discussing the allure of the sport and extending a heartfelt message to celebrate the milestone. This promotional effort is divided into two segments, adding even more anticipation.

The 10th Anniversary Campaign introduces Super Vegito and Super Gogeta

The 10th Anniversary celebration is divided into two segments. In the first part, we have Super Saiyan Goku and Super Saiyan Vegeta (Angel), both characters who can merge into a single powerful being known as Super Vegito.

In the second part of the story, we’re introduced to two powerful characters: Angel Vegeta in his Super Saiyan form and Angel Goku. They have the ability to merge into a single super being known as Super Gogeta.

At present, characters like Super Saiyan 3 Goku (GT) or Golden Great Ape and Super Saiyan God SS Evolved Vegeta from the initial part of the game are still playable. For the second part, we now have Super Saiyan 2 Gohan (Youth) and Frieza (Final Form) in Angel form, as well as an additional Goku character.

The Dokkan Festival in conjunction with the Top Legendary Summon Carnival is now active! This exciting event features multiple summon opportunities, as well as continuous special missions, festivities, and promotions to honor the anniversary celebration.

Introducing the new skill, Reversible Exchange

During this special event, not only do we have Super Vegito and Super Gogeta in play, but a brand-new ability called Reversible Exchange has been introduced as well. With this ability, you’re able to select one of the two characters that suits the current battle situation best. Once the necessary conditions are fulfilled, you can swap characters at any point during the fight.

At present, the Reversible Exchange feature can be utilized by the pairing of Super Saiyan Goku and Super Saiyan Vegeta (Angel), as well as Super Saiyan Vegeta (Angel) and Super Saiyan Goku (Angel). Additionally, it is accessible for Frieza (Final Form) (Angel) and Goku.
