
To celebrate the launch of Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra, Bandai Namco is hosting a Twitch Drops event. Starting September 18th, 2025 and running through October 8th, 2025, you can earn rewards simply by watching streams on Twitch!
The game released on September 9th for Android, iOS, PlayStation 5 and 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It was first announced in August 2024, with regional beta testing beginning that same month. A network test was also held in June 2025.
How to participate in the Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra Twitch Drops event
To get Twitch Drops, you need to watch streamers who are playing the game you’re interested in. First, make sure you have a Twitch account-you can sign up for one on the Twitch website if you don’t already. Then, connect your Twitch account to the game so the Drops can be awarded.

To participate in the event, you must sign in with your Bandai Namco Account and link your game to Twitch. Once you’ve met the event goals, you’ll receive your rewards. Here’s how to connect your accounts to Twitch:
- Select “Link to Bandai Namco ID” from the Home Screen Menu.
- Click on the link to the Twitch page to connect your Bandai Namco ID and your Twitch account.
Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra Twitch Drops Event: Rewards
So, this event lasts for three weeks, and as I play through it, I can snag some rewards by finishing different stages. Here’s what I can earn…

- 30 minutes of viewing: G-Capsule ×5
- 1 hour of viewing: Frame: Tradition
- 3 hours of viewing: SG-Capsule ×5
- 6 hours of viewing: Limited Skin
To earn the top reward, you need to watch at least 30 minutes of content, with a maximum of 6 hours. Don’t worry about watching it all at once – your progress is saved, so you can watch streams over time until you reach the required watch time.
How to claim the Twitch Drops Event Rewards in Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra
Let’s assume you already have a Twitch account and meet the basic requirements. Here’s how to get your rewards for the Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra Twitch Drops event:
- Go to the Twitch website or app if you’re visiting from a mobile device.
- After linking your accounts, tune in to a Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra livestream with Drops enabled to earn rewards.
- To check if the Twitch Drops are enabled, go to the Twitch Inventory Section and check the enabled status.
- Once you reach the minimum requirement, a “Claim” button will appear in your Twitch.tv notifications, so be sure to claim them quickly!
- Go to the “News” section on the Menu Screen. Rewards will be delivered to the game account linked to your Bandai Namco ID.
Please be aware that it may take a little while for your rewards to appear in your account. Also, you won’t be able to receive the items if your Twitch account is linked to a Bandai Namco ID that doesn’t have an associated game account.
